Toy Fair 2015 may have come and gone, but what we saw there was just the tip of the iceberg of what LEGO is going to be offering up this year. While they displayed many sets at Toy Fair, they seem to be announcing new playsets almost weekly, featuring partnerships that continue to catapult LEGO into pop-culture superstardom more than ever before. As we sit with bated breath for the next surprise LEGO may spring on us, let’s reflect on the some of the highlights from our LEGO 2015 booth tour this year. This beauty is 1,685 pieces of pure Star Wars heaven. Featured in many Star Wars battle scenes (and many more to come with the latest installment on the horizon), this is the classic version of the Imperial Starfighter which also includes a TIE Fighter Pilot minifig, display stand and fact plaque. The TIE Fighter will retail for $229.99 and will be available in May. Our community, 5123 want it Our community, 3259 want it Our community, 2047 want it Our community, 2041 want it

But if you’re looking for some serious Avengers action, there might be a $300 Ultimate Collectors Series (UCS) Helicarrier on the way for summer 2015.  Considering that LEGO recently used their DC license to crank out a UCS Tumbler from The Dark Knight, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the company release a Helicarrier.  Hit the jump for a list of the regular sets we’ll be seeing next year [Remember: slight spoilers].

Come summertime, the scaredy dog and his Scooby gang can be found in the LEGO aisle.Five building-block sets featuring the crime-solving canine and other characters from the many Scooby-Doo cartoons over the years arrive in August as part of a new partnership between Warner Bros. Entertainment and The LEGO Group. In addition to making their first appearance in LEGO toy form, Scooby, Shaggy, Fred, Velma and Daphne star in an animated LEGO Scooby TV special this year and planned direct-to-video LEGO movies in coming years.

Scooby-Doo is the latest of many pop-culture-friendly franchises, including Marvel Comics and DC Comics superheroes, Star Wars and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, to get the LEGO treatment with toys and on various entertainment platforms."Fans always wonder which properties may come to life in LEGO form, and this year we are thrilled to bring all of the mystery, humor and hijinks of the Scooby-Doo universe to life in LEGO toys and animated content," said Jill Wilfert, vice president, licensing & entertainment at The LEGO Group.Ranging from $14.99 to $89.99, the LEGO sets Mummy Museum Mystery, The Haunted Lighthouse and The Mystery Mansion draw from the vast array of goblins, creatures and monsters in Scooby-Doo lore dating back to 1969.One thing that's remained constant over the decades is the gang's psychedelic ride, the Mystery Machine, and the vehicle is featured in one of the debut Scooby LEGO line. With 301 pieces and a $29.99 price tag, the set comes with the iconic van (sporting computer screens, spy glass and other mystery-solving equipment), a spooky tree, a giant sandwich and minifigures of Scooby, Shaggy, Fred and a zombie whose identity builders will have to figure out with clues.

November is an important month for LEGO fans because this is when the official holiday shopping season begins with various perks and incentives directly from LEGO, as well as from other LEGO retailers. Today we will look at the LEGO Store Calendar to see what LEGO has to offer, and then during the month we will also look at other shopping options. ➡ FREE LEGO CREATOR HOLIDAY SETS: The first seasonal set with the #40138 LEGO Creator Holiday Train started last month, and will continue until November 13th. You can get the set with any purchase of $99 or more. The second seasonal set is the #40139 LEGO Creator Gingerbread House, that will be available during the Brick Friday weekend from November 27th, with any purchase of $99 or more. These those sets are always the highlight of the season, and this year they are particularly sweet. They also go really well with the LEGO Winter Village sets. ➡ FREE LEGO WALL CALENDAR: Besides the above mentioned specials, from November 15 to December 24th you can also get a free exclusive 2016 LEGO Wall Calendar with purchase of $75 or more – while supplies last. T

hese calendars are a nice gift for LEGO fans, and usually include special coupons that you can redeem next year. ➡ LEGO HOLIDAY SETS: If you haven’t gotten this year’s holiday sets yet, I strongly recommend that you do so as soon as possible because they always sell out long before Christmas. This includes the #10249 LEGO Creator Winter Toy Shop, and last year’s #10245 LEGO Santa’s Workshop. Also, you may consider the LEGO City, LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Friends Advent Calendars, as they are a really fun way to count down for Christmas. You can find them under the seasonal section of the Online LEGO Shop. ➡ BRICK FRIDAY SALES: The day after Thanksgiving is the official beginning of the holiday shopping madness with many retailers offering special sales (November 27th-29th). LEGO calls this weekend Brick Friday instead of Black Friday, and this is when the second seasonal set will be available, as we discussed above. There are no details on what these special offers are going to be, but it is usually select LEGO sets on sale, and possibly double or even triple VIP points on some sets. I
