Jurassic World is a theme introduced in May 2015. It is based on the film of the same name and was released alongside the movie. Universal Partnerships & Licensing (UP&L) today announced that The LEGO Group will create original LEGO®products in conjunction with the release of Jurassic World, the long-awaited next installment in Steven Spielberg’s groundbreaking film series that will be released on June 12, 2015. The LEGO Group’s participation rounds out an overall branded toy campaign designed to bring the action, adventure and excitement of the film to audiences around the world alongside global master toy licensee Hasbro. The toys will be available in May 2015. The announcement was made by UP&L President Stephanie Sperber and Jill Wilfert, vice president of global licensing and entertainment for The LEGO Group. “Jurassic Park defined dinosaurs for an entire generation 20 years ago, and Jurassic World will do the same in 2015,” said Sperber. “Working with LEGO Group to bring this classic into the present in dynamic and exciting ways is truly thrilling.”
“We are thrilled to be a part of the groundbreaking Jurassic Park series,” said Wilfert. “The film’s imagery and branding are iconic, with a rich array of landscapes, vehicles and dinosaurs that are perfect for inspiring a line of building sets that will encourage hours of creative play.” LEGO Jurassic World is a video game released alongside the movie Jurassic World, and uses the several characters featured in the LEGO Jurassic World sets. And now a father and daughter who are fans of Jurassic Park have pooled their LEGO resources and gathered up over $100,000 worth of LEGO pieces to re-create an abridged version of the Steven Spielberg's modern classic, and it's pretty damn cool. If nothing else, it's something fun to keep us excited for this summer's release of Jurassic World. Jurassic World is directed by Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed), who rewrote the script with Derek Connolly from an earlier draft by Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver (Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes). No plot details are available yet, but the film has been said to feature a new operational dinosaur theme park, just as John Hammond imagined over 20 years ago. The cast includes Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson, Jake Johnson, Ty Simpkins, Vincent D'Onofrio, Irrfan Khan and B.D. Wong, reprising his role from Jurassic Park.

In the case of big movie franchises, some sets based on previous films were produced before the ones based on the new films. This has happened with "STAR WARS", "Toy Story", or "Indiana Jones". So a good reason to release a fourth Jurassic Park movie was the chance to see LEGO products for the previous films, right?
Strangely, the last product license ignores the previous movies and is based only on the last film in the series, "Jurassic World". It looks a lost opportunity for such a license deal. The key elements in the Jurassic Park films are the dinosaurs, but the movies are also filled with lots of iconic vehicles, locations and characters with a lot of potential for a complete building toy line. The biggest set in a utopian Jurassic Park Theme would be the Visitor Center. This project features a complex building in the facade, as well as some rooms inside to recreate every scene in the movie: Main entrance hall, with two brick built skeletons: a sauropod and a Tyrannosaurus. “Les Gigantes” restaurant, with gift shop. Genetics lab with cold storage room The rooms can be hinged or detached for a better play experience. There is also space for a secret compartment at the main entrance, under the stairs.I mean, the minifigures included would be: And “The Big One” molded raptor (A.K.A. “Clever Girl”).
