Lego Jurassic World game teased in Lego Batman 3 Lego Batman 3's closing credits include a brief Jurassic Park-themed Easter egg - the latest of several hints that a full Jurassic World game is in production. The credits show DC superheroes Batman and Robin encountering a giant dinosaur (thanks, BrickFan). The classic Jurassic Park theme briefly plays, before the dino waves and stomps off.Leaked marketing materials from retailer Toys 'R Us previously mentioned a Lego Jurassic World game would be released sometime in 2015. Next year also sees the release of Jurassic World, the long-awaited fourth Jurassic Park film.Presumably a game would cover the events of the new film, as well as (hopefully) the classic trilogy.A range of Lego Jurassic World toy sets have already been officially announced, and will arrive on shop shelves next May, ahead of the film's launch in June.Lego Batman 3 publisher Warner Bros. Interactive declined to comment when contacted by Eurogamer. An ordinary Lego construction worker, thought to be the prophesied 'Special', is recruited to join a quest to stop an evil tyrant from gluing the Lego universe into eternal stasis.

All Cast & Crew 6 February 2014 | A reminder of how fun Lego can be. The stand out feature of the Lego Movie for me would be the way the Lego Universe was created. The movie paid great ... The minifigure used to represent Green Lantern was never released in any retail Lego Set. The figure was given out with raffles at New York Comic-Con and San Diego Comic-Con in 2011 to coincide with the re release of Lego Superheroes. The figure is ... ... After Bad Cop captures Emmet, he shows him footage of his friends talking about him. Emmet was captured in the evening, and when he escapes it's night, but the footage Bad Cop shows is in daylight. Since Bad Cop is only interested in Emmet because he has the Piece of Resistance (which he discovered only just before capture), there's no reason for Emmet's friends to have been interviewed previously. The sequence was created by the studio Alma Mater with Stoopid Buddy Stoodios and took almost a year to produce. Lego Movie 2 will apparently be a musical set in Spaaace!

Dive deep into the Oscars, IMDb Picks, Amazon Originals, and more. The Oscars IMDb Picks Amazon Originals Awards Central TV Scary Good Before Ben Affleck makes his standalone film debut with The Batman, The Dark Knight of Gotham City is set to return to the big screen yet again with Warner Bros.’ The LEGO Batman Movie. A spinoff to the popular LEGO Movie, the film is set to focus entirely on Will Arnett’s self-parodying Bruce Wayne/Batman as he deals with the many criminals and allies he has scattered throughout his beloved city. To say that the studio is going all in on the meta, self-referential tone of the first LEGO Movie would be an understatement based on the film’s extremely humorous and dry marketing campaign so far. The film is just a few weeks away from being released, and as of late, the studio has been putting more and more attention on the other iconic characters fans can expect to see show up in the film. The latest pieces of merchandising for the film continue that recent trend as well, teasing the appearance of some of Batman’s most iconic and beloved foes.

Today, The LEGO Group has revealed four new LEGO toy sets that will be released in conjunction with the film. Titled “Scarecrow Fearful Face-off,” “Bane Toxic Truck Attack,” “Two-Face Double Demolition,” and “The Batwing,” the new sets feature appearances from Scarecrow, Bane, and Two-Face. Take a look for yourself below: These four villains are just some of the many, many characters from the Batman comics that are set to make an appearance/play a role in the film. Other notable characters include Harley Quinn (Jenny Slate), The Joker (Zach Galifianakis), Batgirl (Rosario Dawson), and more. Directed by Chris McKay (who worked on the first LEGO Movie), the film quite simply promises to be one of the most ambitious and enthusiastic deep dives into Batman’s world that has ever been attempted onscreen. However, one of the biggest hurdles that the film is facing is whether or not it’ll be able to live up to the acclaim of the first LEGO Movie. Released in 2014, it was one of the most critically-acclaimed films of the year (with a sequel already in development), and sparked a newfound interest and love for the LEGO brand around the world.

But Arnett’s Batman was just one of the supporting characters of the film, and while he was a scene-stealer in his own way, many fans have wondered if he’ll be able to carry a movie of his own. Fortunately, it looks like the film will actually be a full-fledged Batman film in its own right, and not just a feature-length joke about the seriousness of the character. So if it can manage to capture that same love and sense of adventure that every standalone Batman film should, then it’ll hopefully be able to live on its own merits, rather than just trying to keep the momentum of its LEGO Movie predecessor going. Source: The LEGO Group The LEGO Batman Movie release date: Feb 10, 20176:40 AM PST 2/9/2017 In a sequel showdown, The Lego Batman Movie is widely expected to rule the pre-Valentine's Day domestic box office when opening Friday opposite Fifty Shades Darker and John Wick 2. Tracking suggests Lego Batman will bow to north of $60 million for Warner Bros. Animation.

More bullish box-office observers believe the spinoff will even approach or clear $70 million, considering The Lego Movie, directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, debuted to $69.1 million over the Feb. 7-9 weekend in 2014. In Lego Batman, directed by Chris McKay, Will Arnett voices the role of the tiny Caped Crusader as the superhero tries to find himself and save Gotham City from a hostile takeover by The Joker (Zach Galifianakis). The voice cast also includes Michael Cera, Rosario Dawson and Ralph Fiennes. Imax partnered with Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment on the pic. The forecast for Universal's Fifty Shades Darker isn't as rosy, at least in comparison to the record-breaking $85 million bow of Fifty Shades of Grey over the three-day Valentine's Day/Presidents Day weekend in 2014. Projections show the follow-up earning $30 million to $40 million in its U.S. debut. At the time of Fifty Shades of Grey, EL James' books about an S&M-laced romance were a global sensation.

Dubbed "mommy porn," the female-fueled pic saw women turn out in groups to watch it, much like the first Sex and the City film. The sequel reunites Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan as the characters Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey, respectively, with James Foley assuming directing duties after James clashed with Fifty Shades of Grey helmer Sam Taylor-Johnson. It doesn't help that Fifty Shades of Grey had the advantage of Valentine's Day landing on a Saturday night, as well as launching over the long Presidents Day weekend, which falls a week later this year. (Universal is counting on the sequel doing strong midweek business since Valentine's Day is Tuesday.) The weekend's third new nationwide entry is Lionsgate's John Wick: Chapter 2, a male-fueled action film starring Keanu Reeves. Common, Laurence Fishburne, Riccardo Scamarcio, Ruby Rose, John Leguizamo and Ian McShane co-star in the movie, directed by Chad Stahelski. Projections suggest John Wick 2 will debut as high as $20 million.
