NewsYahoo Movies UK5 August 2016This week saw the release of a new Doctor Strange themed LEGO set and we’ve discovered it features a rather cool Iron Man easter egg.The set - 76060 LEGO MARVEL Super Heroes Doctor Strange’s Sanctum Sanctorum (RRP: £29.99) - comes with three Minifigs Doctor Strange, Karl Mordo and The Ancient One, and it shows a scene inside the Doctor’s mysterious HQ.On Strange’s coffee table there’s a letter from Stark Industries, Tony Stark’s company, suggesting we could see a Robert Downey Jr. cameo in the film, which hits cinemas later this year.Benedict Cumberbatch stars as the Sorcerer Supreme in Marvel’s new superhero film, and we think he looks pretty cool in LEGO.Image credits: LEGO/Marvel#news#doctor-strange#lego#movies#marvelWhat to read next Official LEGO Comments 3 Hi all, This is my first project and hope you like it. Hulkbuster is a wonderful machine and he is so powerful. I decided to build one after the movie and also watched the hottoys show in HK this year.

I spent nearly 2 weeks to design and build this lego model and used around 800 pieces to build that. I try my best to make it looks powerful. Since I also like Gundam so I believe I add some gundam design in the model accidentally :P. I put hulk in the model because I don't ironman minifigure at the moment. More picture and my other moc:Are Thanos, Hyperion and Captain Marvel all in Captain America: Civil War? That's what a new image of LEGO sets for this Marvel Phase Three adventure teases. These are all characters we haven't yet heard mentioned when it comes to this epic blockbuster. The LEGO sets in question also show off 5 epic battles. We're promised an underwater fight against Iron Skull, which will feature Iron Man and Captain America in special scuba suits. And there is also a space battle in play that brings in Captain Marvel, Thanos and Hyperion.Captain Marvel was originally supposed to be introduced in Avengers: Age of Ultron, but those plans were scrapped. And as far as we know, the character hasn't been cast yet.

Will she be introduced in Captain America: Civil War? A movie that is already introducing Spider-Man and Black Panther? And this is the first we've heard about Hyperion showing up in the MCU at all. Will this space battle be a scene that leads directly into Avengers: Infinity War Part I? That explains Thanos' inclusion here, but perhaps these are all just toy tie-ins that really have nothing to do with the movie at all.Over the past few years, new LEGO playsets for upcoming movies have given fans an early glimpse into some of the biggest action scenes. These sets don't exactly guarantee that these scenes will be depicted in the movie. Though, they're still worth examining. When production started on Captain America: Civil War back in May, Marvel unveiled the official cast list, which confirmed that Ant-Man star Paul Rudd is reprising his role as Scott Lang. Since then, rumors have surfaced that Lang may transform into Giant Man in Captain America: Civil War. And he is yet another character seemingly confirmed in this new LEGO playset photo.

Marvel hasn't said one way or another whether or not Giant Man will be seen in the actual movie, when it hits theaters on May 6, 2016, but this LEGO image could hint that Ant-Man gets much bigger. Giant Man is part of the splash page battle that has been previously teased in the first trailer. Here, all of the heroes are gathered at an airport, where they must square off against each other. Will Ant-Man become Giant Man during this fight against titans when it hits the big screen? The splash page airport LEGO set comes with mini-figs for Cap, Agent 13 (Emily VanCamp), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Winter Soldier, War Machine (Don Cheadle), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Ant-Man and Giant-Man. Other sets featured here bring in Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and Cap (Chris Evans). We also get to see Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Crossbones (Frank Grillo) going to war. While there are a number of characters who aren't featured in these images, one notable exclusion is Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who will make his debut in Captain America: Civil War before starring in his own reboot, produced by both Marvel and Sony Pictures.

We still haven't gotten our first official look at the web slinger in Captain America: Civil War yet, and it remains to be seen if he will be featured in any of the trailers or clips as we get closer to the May 6, 2016 release date. The cast also includes Paul Bettany as The Vision, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye, Daniel Brühl as Baron Zemo, William Hurt as General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross and Martin Freeman as an unspecified character.Marvel's Captain America: Civil War finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps-one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark's surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.

Get ready to pick a side and join the nonstop action playing out on two fronts when Marvel's Captain America: Civil War opens in U.S. theaters on May 6, 2016. Take a look at this new LEGO set photo below, and stay tuned for more on Captain America: Civil War. What do you think? Are these the battles and characters that we'll get to see in this latest Marvel Phase Three adventure? This year’s exclusive sets at San Diego Comic Con are the new LEGO BrickHeadz which are also coming in 2017. These sets went for $40 each at the con and the only way to be able to get one was to enter a raffle early in the morning to win a voucher to purchase the set later on in the day. The only BrickHeadz set that I was able to obtain is Iron Man & Captain America (41492) which contains 184 pieces. If these BrickHeadz sets look familiar, they somewhat resemble the LEGO CubeDudes created by Angus MacLane for SDCC 2010 and Star Wars Fan Celebration V. Like with other LEGO San Diego Comic Con exclusive sets, the box is of a higher cardboard quality.

It comes with a slip cover that is taped on the bottom and numbered on the sides. Each side of the box gives a profile shot of each character in the set. The top gives a top-down view of the BrickHeadz while the sides show one side of the character and the back shows the back side of the build. The contents of the box include two sealable bags of parts and two instruction booklets. Each of the two builds come with their own instruction booket. The front pages shows the Marvel side of the exclusive BrickHeadz sets with the other one being Black Panther & Dr. Strange (41493). The opposite page shows a silhouette of general looking BrickHeadz with the release date of March 1, 2017. The first part of the build is Captain America. The build starts with the body and the arms. Here you get some nice printed 1×4 bricks of the star and the belt. Next is the head with a 2×4 tile of the “A” on the mask. The eyes are also some new printed 1×1 round tiles with the pupils.

The wings on the side of the mask are made of white claw pieces connected to a new white peg piece. The last part of the build are the legs which are just some 1×2 plates stacked on top of each other. Finally, he stands on a 4×6 plate with an exclusive printed 2×4 tile. The tile has the LEGO logo and the hashtag #LEGOSDCC. His accessory is the standard shield we’ve seen for the Captain America minifigures. The other build is Iron Man built in a similar fashion. On his body, there are some printed tiles of his suit on the front. The arms hold on to the newly released trans-clear stud with bar piece and a trans-blue stud to represent the repulsors. The head also has some printed pieces with a slope piece for the top of the mask and 1×1 trans-blue tiles for the eyes. The legs have a bit more building to it instead of stacking plates together. Iron Man also has the same stand that Captain America has with the exclusive printed LEGO SDCC tile. Overall, the LEGO Marvel BrickHeadz Iron Man & Captain America (41492) is an okay set.

There’s nothing to complicated about the building aspect of the set as it is mostly just brick stacking. The heads are built using 1X2X1 bricks with studs on the side to give the SNOT look. What I really like about the sets are the amount of printed pieces for both characters. Whether the LEGO BrickHeadz sets coming out in 2017 with have printed parts or not remains to be seen. When completed, the BrickHeadz do make cute display builds for your desk or whatnot. As far as the LEGO BrickHeadz sets being San Diego Comic Con 2016 exclusives go, they don’t have the flair that previous year’s exclusives had like the DC Comics Action Comics #1 Superman set or the Batman Classic TV Series Batmobile and as a result, they aren’t as highly sought after and don’t demand the higher prices on eBay like the others. Do they deserve the $40 price tag that was asked for them? Probably not, especially the work you had to put in to be able to purchase the sets meaning standing in the sun for at least a few hours for a chance to win the voucher.
