Alright, so I recently tried an older UFO-themed LEGO series, now for something the most recent incarnation, just 4 years back. Video: LEGO Alien Conquest Mothership from 2011! This 2,179 piece set took me over 7 hours to build, and I love it. The outside looks appropriate, but the inside is almost overflowing with the finest of details. In my opinion, this is one of the best structure sets LEGO has ever made, in any theme. Video link: LEGO Simpsons KWIK-E-MART review! A LEGO City... house? Yep, the one & only. Somewhat of an obscure set, even though it's not too old at all. Video: LEGO City House review! set 8403 from 2010 With this, work on that massive haul of sets from Bricklink has officially begun! I also picked up the flagship castle of the entire decade and will review it soon. The little original yellow 1978 castle will be sourced at a later date :) Video: Vintage LEGO Knight's Castle from 1984! Mega Bloks fans have been getting antsy and asking every day why I haven't been reviewing new MB sets. The answer is consistent: There haven't been any new MB sets! Thankfully there was finally a break in the lull with this delightfully excellent little figure pack.

As I said before, it looked like an Aston Martin coupe, or some other front-engine tourer. I won't be doing this with the other sets in the line, but I couldn't help changing this one a slight bit. Picked this one up awhile back in a Bricklink haul, figured I'd share it. Video: LEGO Racers Big Bling Wheelie truck from 2005! Finally, my first older-generation Technic set, complete & reviewed! This was missing the flex cable pieces, but those arrived in the last Bricklink haul to allow me to finish this up and also show the official alternate model. Video: LEGO Technic Front End Loader from 1992! Four down, two to go. Less happy with these than the first two, though the Water one is growing on me. Video: LEGO Bionicle Chibi Protectors of Ice & Water Continuing with my chibi-fication of the 2015 Bionicle line, here are my first two Protectors. The size had to be ridiculously small to have some sort of decent scale to my chibi Toa. Thus I tried to make a CCBS-based Tohunga frame and hang Protector masks & weapons on them. Here's another recent Duplo set I picked up this past release season, but this one doesn't particularly impress me. Video: LEGO Duplo 2015 Cafe review! Here's something from a LEGO theme I've only barely touched on in the past. Rather than beating around the bush with more little auxiliary sets, this time I've gone for one of the big & memorable ones! Video: LEGO Atlantis Undersea Explorer from 2010! I may have completed my original classic LEGO Space collection, but there were plenty more later sub-themes & spin-offs, and I'm going to keep covering them! Video: LEGO classic Space Police Sonar Security from 1993! This one's very, very clearly for the youngest fans, but it still manages to include a few interesting pieces for everyone. Video: LEGO Juniors Garbage Truck review! I've gotten a lot of Slizer / Throwbot parts over the past half-decade or so, but this is my first time having a full official set assembled. I quite like these! There's something about their style that just feels very compatible with my tastes in sci-fi.
