It includes 571 pieces and two minifigures, Hitomi and a Devastator. It includes the Golden Tower, which can fire missiles and the upper room can come off. There is a trapdoor is the roof and you can fire flick missiles out the front door; and the Sonic Raven, which is controlled by Devastator has two missiles and spinning blades. It also includes some swords so that Hitomi can defend the Golden Tower.Do not modify it. The golden tower is the tallest building in the golden city, and houses the massive computer that is the central knowledge storehouse.
It is here EXO-FORCE pilots bring the codes they have retrieved for entry into the computer. It is also in this tower that Ryo, Takeshi and Hikaru received their new battle machines. Until now I'd only acknowledged the existence of the Original Trilogy and the Clone Wars cartoon (and movie). I grew up deeply involved with Star Wars and had more than a few issues with the new trilogy but knew I'd eventually have to let go of my secret, especially with Ep. 7 debuting later this year. But one of the few elements I unequivocally couldn't wait for my son to see was the first appearance of the Republic Gunship in Ep. 2.
Whatever flaws that may have been in that film, the Gunship was not one of them. I immediately liked the design, the functionality, its role in the movie, and (what I feel is obvious) connection to the Huey and Blackhawk helicopters. And its arrival, at the last moment, to rescue the Jedi remaining in the stadium in Geonosis was handled well in the film.But this is a LEGO set! And a small, cute one at that! I know, I know. I just REALLY like this vehicle and am totally bummed about not owning the rather pricey full-size Lego version, LEGO Star Wars Republic Gunship, from a few years back. So this is finally my opportunity to own one of my all time favorite SW vehicles, so please excuse my enthusiasm.There are a lot of things I like about such a little set. First, I really like the printing on the minifigure, particularly his Ep. 2 helmet. The breathing apparatus on his chest I felt could have been a little larger, but that's just nitpicking. Inside he's the standard clone. The lime green and maroon accent bricks just pop against the gray and white.
