Gift for my niece, she loved it. Good kids gift for xmas. bought for a present, they loved it Packing squashed the box inside slightly. No problem with the actual item . It is a present , hence this comment. Perfect birthday gift for 7 yr old, nice sized box. completely different product, opening the box of the product, no delivery note My First Lego Plane set and loved every moment building all three versions. The set 6912, Super Soarer, features a yellow jet plane. My first thoughts were towards the Harrier, but it has exhausts on the tail, which the Harrier doesn't have. On what plane, if any, is it based? I would go for another British aircraft: Sepecat Jaguar The intakes, wing shapes and overall proportions look like a Harrier Jump Jet, but the model doesn't have the landing gear or under-wing armaments. Similar overhead view of a Harrier:Browse other questions tagged sets model-identification or ask your own question. $12.99 €9.99 £9.99 $15.99Additional prices:

6912 Super Soarer is a Creator set that was released in late 2011. It contains 130 pieces and can be built into a jet plane, a helicopter or a boat. It is recommended for children aged 6 through to 12. The set contains 130 pieces, mainly in Yellow, White, and Earth Blue, which are used to build the set's main model, a small jet, as well as two alternatives, a helicopter and a speedboat. The jet has retractable landing gear, as well as Transparent Yellow 1x2 plates on the underside of the air intakes to represent vertical thrust nozzles. The helicopter also has retractable landing gear, as well as a spinning rotor and small fins on the sides. The speedboat has two engines, one on each side, a spoiler at the back, and, although the set is not designed to be Minifigure scale, this model can seat a minifigure. Soar through the sky with this amazing 3-in-1 stunt jet! Amaze the crowds with this daring stunt jet! Raise the landing gear, and try the most daring maneuvers ever!

This has been my favourite Lego set ever since it was given to me in 1979!GS rates this set 5 of 5 stars. My favorite ever, and the basis for many many adaptations and add-ons,I downloaded instructions today and built it with my son ... 35 years after I first built it as a kid myself !!Diane Johnstone rates this set 5 of 5 stars.I gave this set to my son in 1978 and downloaded the instructions for some children to build it 35 years later.

Just thinking of my son building it makes me smile.James Wolters rates this set 5 of 5 stars. One of my first sets and certainly the favorite. I memorized how to build it and used it as a basis for many other variations.Phil rates this set 5 of 5 stars. My Mom bought me this set in 1980. It is currently on display along with the 928 in my living room.James Busch rates this set 5 of 5 stars. One of my first and favourite sets as well. I had built a modified version where I excluded the whole back end and made it more of an escape/exploring pod from the mother ship me and a buddy had made.... Going to try and build it with my kids and their 1000's of lego pieces....Ingi Jensson rates this set 5 of 5 stars.I remember going to the original Legoland, while on vacation in Denmark back in 1980 (or so) and picking this one up. It was the coolest LEGO I had ever seen!!Now about 33 years later I just had the idea to see if I still had all the pieces after moving between 3 countries with my 'old' lego bricks and now being +43 and not having done anything with them since the '80s.

I've just finished assembling it and the only thing that's missing is the antenna - and it looks great! Brings back plenty of happy memories :)I'm very glad I found this site to help me in my quest for days gone by!My very best from the UK, Ingi the Icelander.Kevin rates this set 5 of 5 stars. The most fun and coolest set still today. I have mine still from 1980 and gives me a warm happy feeling every time I build it!Mike rates this set 5 of 5 stars. This was the first Lego Space set I ever got. The instructions went missing nearly 30 years ago. Today I opened up my old crate of Lego for my 3 year old to look at, and thanks to the instructions on this site, I was amazed to find I still had all the pieces to put it together. It's a great little ship and hasn't dated too badly at all. Thanks Toysperiod for putting the site together. Cheers from Down UnderAlvaro rates this set 5 of 5 stars.I've never had this set nor knew about it since about 2 weeks ago. Nevertheless, I've had 2 928: mine from '78 -with too many pieces lost due to play- and one from a cousin which I've received years later and keep pristine 'till today.

The thing is that I saw the 918 and I knew I had the pieces to build it with my son from my first 928 pieces! Some adaptations -mainly due to the lower-level cockpit- but now we're very happy owners of the little sibling of our beloved 928Bests from Costa Rica!TieRaid rates this set 5 of 5 stars. This was the first set that sparked my imagination. 34 years later, it is still my favourite.Andrea rates this set 5 of 5 stars.Toys Period I love you. Now I'm 42, but I could build it and i went back in 1979. Steve rates this set 5 of 5 stars.Building your favourite lego set when you were 5, 36 years later for your 5yo son #priceless. Finding all the pieces #amazing! for hosting the instructions! Mark Field rates this set 5 of 5 stars.I was lucky enough to receive this set for my birthday in 1979 and christmas also from someone who didnt realise i already owned it. My love of lego was awakened because of this set. This led me to enter several lego competitions in 1980 in Tasmania all of which i won and then led to an all expenses paid trip to Melbourne for the 1980 grand final held in Myer and which was televised on Hey Hey its Saturday.i won loads of cool Lego and got a kiss from Jackie McDonald which was a big deal for a 9 year old back then.
