6562 Gas Stop Shop is a Town set released in 1995. It contains a small Octan gas station, a tanker truck, a tow truck and three minifigures. This is a quote taken from January 1996 LEGO Shop at Home Catalogue. Lots of action - just like a real gas station! The tanker is ready to deliver the gasoline. And the truck driver is standing by in case anyone needs a tow. To pay for gas, insert the special money into the slot on the pump. Then use the nozzles to dispense gas. If anyone needs repairs, you've got all the tools you need right here!" The gas station consists of two pumps and an automated cash register. Two of the minifigures wear jumpsuits in Octan colours, while the third one wears a simple blue jumpsuit. This was one of the smallest Octan gas stations and the only one without an actual building. The HVSS suspension is fully functional, along with a robust final drive. The suspension has some minor issues due to the way it is connected, and the spacing between road wheels is also rather tight.This model uses a Sbrick, it could be configured for IR receivers, though it will be difficult to mount them as the model is already packed with components.Decals are available here for it, just print on 11x8.5 in paper. /1/445/32690290175_8e78144d4b_o.pngThe LXF file is mostly assembled, though there are several parts that I was unable to install due to part collisions.
