The flags flying over the crossbowman on the parapet, the unusual shape of the base, the subtle use of foliage and the small touches of wear and tear, the ramshackle look of the roof of the Inn, the cobbled stone work of the tower and characters chosen to tell the story of this Guarded Inn all add a sense of authenticity and realism. But the coolest thing about this creation is that its based on the classic LEGO castle set 6067 Guarded Inn.

J’ai ressorti ce set, car je fais une expo en janvier avec de vieux sets dont j’ai la boîte et la notice (2 castle et 2 space classic). J’en profite donc pour faire une petite review. A noter que ce n’est pas la boîte que j’avais petit. J’ai trouvé celle-là au stand Emmaus de l’exposition de Diemoz. Les boîtes de cette époque avaient vraiment la classe avec le volet qui se rabat sur une partie transparente de la boîte qui laisse apparaître l’ensemble des pièces du set. le set 6067 (Guarded Inn) est un des set castle les plus connus de l’époque. Il est super complet pour un set de cette taille. nom du set : L’auberge fortifiée (guarded Inn) prix S@H : 200 francs à l’origine? année de sortie : 1986 La boîte est dans un superbe état.
Au dos, on a un mix entre le set et une construction alternative. Les boîtes avaient vraiment de la gueule à l’époque. Les blisters permettaient d’avoir un aperçu du contenu de la boîte. La notice est bien fatiguée. La notice est plutôt claire pour l’époque. L’ensemble des pièces du set. Voilà le set, une fois monté. On ne sais pas trop comment le chevalier monte sur la plateforme du haut… pleins de détails avec la cheminée, les volets, la lucarne et la porte. L’ouverture est super intéressante pour accéder à l’intérieur de l’auberge. Les colombages sérigraphiés sont vraiment un gros plus du set. C’est un des meilleurs set de mon enfance. Même si je jouais beaucoup avec les Lego space, j’avais quelques set castle avec lesquels je jouais aussi.Je n’ai quasi jamais démonté celui-là. On a des chevaliers, un cheval, une dame du moyen-âge, une belle maison et des fortifications pour quelques confrontations.
D’ailleurs au montage du set, l’entente est cordiale entre le clan aigle et celui des lions (double hache). On a vraiment tout ce qu’il faut pour la jouabilité. Pour compléter le tout, les accessoires comme les lances, épée et boucliers ne manquent pas.
