The BrickGun Walther PPK. 100% accurate scale with a working hammer and trigger... and did we mention a removable magazine. Can't believe how much functionality we were able to fit into such a small model. Sorry, not room for a working slide. The Lego Batman Movie hits theaters in less than a month’s time, and to help ramp up the film’s marketing blitz, Lego teamed up with Chevrolet to build a life-sized version of the Dark Knight’s latest Batmobile out of mostly plastic bricks—some 344,187 of them to be exact. The Lego Batmobile, which measures in at 17 feet long, nine feet wide, and almost seven feet tall, actually has an internal frame made of square aluminum tubing to ensure it doesn’t collapse under its own weight. All of those plastic bricks weighs just shy of 1,700 pounds. (Each wheel on its own weighs close to 100 pounds.) We never pegged Batman as a superhero who would let himself get caught up in corporate synergy, but apparently Bruce Wayne was more than eager to team up with Chevrolet to help with the 222-hour build required to bring this version of the Batmobile to life. It’s incredibly detailed, and as much a work of art as it is yet another advertisement for Lego’s next movie. But the toymaker is missing a big opportunity by not turning this into an official set that fans can buy.

It might be prohibitively expensive and way too big to fit on the shelf at Toys ‘R’ Us, but imagine the satisfaction of finally completing a set like this all by yourself, even if it takes years.[The Lego Batman Movie via Chevrolet]The University of Cambridge is on the cusp of hiring a Lego professor. The 800-year-old British university recently accepted £1.5 million ($2.3 million) from the Lego Foundation to launch a new research center focused on "play in education, development, and learning". The professor is expected to lead the center. The role will be financed by an additional £2.5 million ($3.9 million) from the Lego Foundation. The job still needs a final sign-off from the university, but official documents show Cambridge's School of the Humanities and Social Sciences is keen to hire someone for the new position. Candidates for the role will likely need to be passionate about playing with colorful plastic bricks and enthusiastic about early childhood education. The Lego Foundation has been collaborating with Cambridge in the last decade on research related to children's play.

It also has ties with MIT in the U.S. and the Tsinghua University in China. The foundation is known for its philanthropic and research work related to childhood education and play. It is financed by the Lego Group, which manufactures and sells the popular toy bricks. > Lodge > Lego Lodge No. 357 Lego Lodge No. 357 Not sure what jurisdiction this is, but they seem pretty “regular” to me. Play-Doh Sled Adventure Featuring Disney's Frozen Disney Princess 41068: Arendelle Castle Celebration Mixed See all 357 customer reviews This review may not show as an Amazon Verified Purchase as I actually purchased it from Amazon's Prime Now app which for some reason does not show in the main order list on this site as they appear to have the app and this website separate despite it being the same company but I did purchase it from Amazon themselves. The castle measures 24cm high to the very top of the purple snowflake on the top and measures 19cm wide by 8cm deep at it's widest points.

The castle is reasonably easy to build and an 8 year old would probably be able to build it by themselves but any younger than this would probably need a little help. The castle comes with an Olaf, Anna and Elsa figure and both sisters have fabric capes that can be attached. There is also a little sled, slope to push the sled down (with hidden cookie area underneath), picnic mat with sandwich and cookie and ice skates separate to the main build. The main castle has three floors with a downstairs ice cream parlour, outside icicle tree and ski's. The middle floor is accessed via a staircase that can be opened and closed and Elsa's bedroom is on this floor along with her balcony. The upstairs level is a little reading area complete with book and letter and little seating area. The castle itself is actually quite small in comparison to Skyra's Castle for example however that castle is double the price of this one but even so the normal full rrp is a little overpriced for what it is which is why delightful as the castle is I don't feel it is worth more than 4 stars.
