Be the first to write a review 9 - 12 years old 7 to 10 business days 9 - 13 years old 5 to 9 business days Born in the wilds of the freezing cold Yukon, White Fang - half-dog, half-wolf - is the only animal in the litter to survive. He soon learns the harsh laws of nature, yet buried deep inside him are the distant memories of affection and love. Will this fiercely independent creature of the wild learn to trust man again? Richard Adams, prize-winning author of Watership Down, introduces this chilling, beautiful tale of the wild. Jack London was an American novelist and short-story writer whose works deal romantically with elemental struggles for survival. At his peak, he was the highest paid and the most popular of all living writers. Because of early financial difficulties, he was largely self educated past grammar school. London draws heavily on his life experiences in his writing. He spent time in the Klondike during the Gold Rush and at various times was an oyster pirate, a seaman, a sealer, and a hobo.

His first work was published in 1898. From there he went on to write such American classics as Call of the Wild, Sea Wolf, and White Fang. For Ages: 9 - 12 years old Number Of Pages: 320 Published: 1st September 2008 Publisher: Penguin Books Ltd Country of Publication: GB Dimensions (cm): 17.8 x 12.9 This product is categorised by: Children & Teenagers / Young Adults Action & Adventure Stories for Children & Teenagers Animal Stories for Children & Teenagers Classic Fiction for Children & TeenagersFangdam is the warrior and second in command of the Fangpyre snake tribe. Fangdam has two heads like Fangtom's, except for the different colours on the back. His torso is very detailed, featuring scales, and white fangs and is almost the same as the one that Fangtom has, except for the black areas in between the scales are smaller. Fangdam often appears incorrectly with Fangtom's torso in the TV show. His legs are red with small white fangs.

He was once accidentally bitten by Fang-Suei who mistook him for a desert slug in the heat of battle which caused him to grow a second head. Fangdam has been seen driving two vehicles, the 9457 Fangpyre Wrecking Ball, and the 9445 Fangpyre Truck Ambush. He is the Fangpyre warrior, or the second-in-command. In some sets, he holds the Fangpyre staff. He appears in most Fangpyre scenes in the TV Show, but has never spoken. It is unknown if he has his heads finishing each others sentences like Fangtom. His two heads come from a bite from Fang-Suei, while mistaking him for an enemy during battle. Fangdam is Fangtom's sidekick and second in command - he is one fast and ferocious Fangpyre. Formerly best friends with Skales. The Fangpyres have to act fast when they bite things to create a new army. Sometimes they get a bit carried away and things happen too fast. As it did when Fangdam was bitten by Fang-Suei, who mistook him for a desert slug in the heat of battle. Hence, the two heads.

So let’s dive in and check out these little guys! First of all here is the full box image for LEGO Minifigures Series 9. As you can see the packages this time are a darker shade of silver-gray. And here are all the 16 LEGO Minifigures in Series 9! According to many LEGO fans this is one of the best minifigure series released. Every single minifigure is interesting and unique – no deadbeats or slackers here. We also get lots of new moulds, new colors, new prints and new accessories! And here is a better look at each of the minifigures, starting with the Waiter and the Cyclops. A lot of people are excited about the Cyclops (with a dual-sided head), but the waiter is excellent too with that beautifully printed green bottle and new tray! And here is the LEGO Minifigures Series 9 Hollywood Starlet with a really sweet new hair-mould. The Heroic Knight comes with a nice shield, printed legs, printed armor, and a new short-sword. One of the most exciting minifigures in Series 9 is the Roman Emperor. I

t will go really well with the previously released Roman Soldier and Gladiator. And although most of us have plenty of LEGO policemen already, this one is really nice with a dark-blue uniform instead of black, and a brand new police-hat! The LEGO Minifigures Series 9 Chicken Suit Guy is going to be a perfect addition to the other animal-suit figures, and the Roller Derby Girls roller-skates have been long past due! The LEGO Minifigures Series 9 Fortune Teller is an absolutely unique minifigure and would be an interesting character in many LEGO scenes. I wish she would have a crystal ball though! The judge with his powdered wig and hammer is another unique character. Both the wig and the hammer/mallet are going to be useful accessories. The LEGO Minifigures Series 9 Alien Avenger and Mermaid are some of my favorites in this series. I always wanted that armor piece in different color than the previously available dark-blue, and the mermaid is very pretty with a rare hair-piece in a new color, and the star-fish has been very rare too! S

he is a real treasure! The LEGO Minifigures Series 9 Battle Mech is most likely going to be very popular with kids. It is also a nice companion to the new LEGO Galaxy Squad line. And Mr. Good & Evil (also referred to as Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde is a great addition to the other evil characters in LEGO Monster Fighters. The LEGO Minifigures Series 9 Forest Maiden is undoubtedly the sweetest minifigure in the series. She comes with a very pretty new hair-mould and a beautiful shield. She could fit right in with the famous LEGO Forestmen, or even the elves. The plumber comes with a new cap, and a new plunger. And I always liked minifigs in overalls. 🙄
And that completes the Series 9 Minifigures. If you would like to see more detailed pictures from different angles and without armor pieces and other accessories, check out WhiteFang’s full review over at Eurobricks. One other thing I would like to mention here is that according to WhiteFang the distribution in a full box of 60 is as follows: 2 Waiter, 6 Cyclops, 2 Hollywood Starlet, 6 Heroic Knight, 4 Roman Emperor, 6 Policeman, 4 Chicken Suit Guy, 2 Roller Derby Girl, 2 Fortune Teller, 4 Judge, 6 Alien Avenger, 4 Mermaid, 4 Battle Mech,
