Lego Dimensions, the video game that will use smart mini-figures to access on-screen heroes, already had a strong line-up of brands. This week we learned that Scooby and Shaggy will be joining Marty McFly, Gandalf, Batman and Doctor Who on their brand mashing adventure. A new trailer for Lego Dimensions introduced the Scooby-Doo packs with a cartoon short and example game-play. Shaggy, Scooby, The Mystery Machine are all playable, there’s even the ubiquitous Scooby Snacks. The Scooby levels take on a classic Saturday morning cartoon feel in the game, now though it’s the player controlling the action — investigating spooky mansions, abandoned circuses and running away from mummified enemies. The Scooby-Doo content is part of the Starter Pack for Lego Dimensions, but adding the Team Pack expansion (purchased separately) enables players to take control of Scooby or Shaggy and drive the Mystery Machine around any of the 14 campaign levels. The expansion pack also unlocks the Scooby-Doo open world levels that can be explored to find hidden bricks and mysteries to solve.

Scooby-Doo and Shaggy each have their own abilities and the Mystery Machine and Scooby Snack can be re-built using in-game instructions to unlock new abilities. As can be seen in the trailer the game enables players to access any of the brands with just the starter pack, mixing them up in different ways. This is a departure for the toy-game hybrid products that usually have to promise to keep franchises separate in the main story. Other brands are also seen in the trailer. Scooby and Shaggy run through the Ghostbusters HQ, Ninjago homelands and DC Comics cityscapes before stopping off at Hill Valley and Homer Simpson’s house. Lego Dimensions will release on Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 on September 27th in the US and September 29th in the UK. — Scooby-Doo's line when entering the game — Scooby-Doo's second line when entering the game “Time for a mystery!” — Scooby-Doo's third line when entering the game Scooby-Doo is one of the Team Pack characters in LEGO Dimensions.

He appears in 71206 Team Pack for the Scooby Doo franchise. Scooby-Doo is the main character of the Scooby Doo franchise. He is the pet Great Dane of Shaggy and a member of Mystery Incorporated. He gets scared by monsters a lot easier than the rest of the gang apart from Shaggy. Yet, in spite of his cowardliness, he can be brave when motivated whether for food, or whenever his friends are in danger. Due to be being a dog, Scooby sometimes has a speech impediment where he pronounces most of his words with an "r" sound at the beginning, such as "Ruh Roh!" or "Rhaggy!". At the begining of the level, Scooby, alongside the rest of the Mystery Inc., are investigating a case of a mummy that appeared in the Mansion of Fred's uncle, Arthur Jones. Fred sends Scooby and Shaggy to investigate the abandoned fairground. Initially, they refuse, but Fred and Velma convince them to do so after mentioning that there are snacks at the fairground. Shortly after Batman, Gandalf, and Wyldstyle defeat Lord Vortech to prevent him from obtaining the Diamond Scarab, Scooby and Shaggy stumble upon Vortech's mummy disguise.

When the rest of the gang arrives, they believe that Scooby and Shaggy solved the mystery, which the two reluctantly admit to. LEGO Scooby-Doo!: Haunted Hollywood | In LEGO® Scooby-Doo!: Haunted Hollywood, the gang heads to the entertainment capital of the world, Hollywood, where they take a tour of the legendary Brickton Studios, a historic Hollywood movie studio.

While visiting the lot, the gang is surprised to find the once powerful film studio has fallen onto hard times. Neglected and in disrepair, Brickton, which has lost its luster, now faces threats of closure and an impending sale to greedy developers who want to tear it down. To top it off, the Mystery Inc. gang discovers that the studio’s backlot is haunted by the ghost of Boris Karnak, a famous, old-time movie actor who has been making ghostly appearances in the roles he once made famous – including the Headless Horseman, the Mummy and the Zombie. The ghostly sightings have frightened away the cast and crew of Brickton’s latest film production, which was the studio’s final effort in trying to save the company from going under. Now with production halted on the movie which was supposed to rescue Brickton from its demise, it looks as though the famous backlot is destined to fall into the hands of the developers after all. Will it be a wrap for Brickton or will Scooby and the gang find a way to help the studio achieve box-office success?
