This project was conceived by a dedicated group of engineers, including a real roller coaster designer. Based around the CoasterDynamix track and train system developed in 2004, the Cyclone functions just like an actual roller coaster. A miniature chain lift hauls the cars to the top of the first hill, then gravity takes over from there. The kit includes everything you need to build the Cyclone. The CoasterDynamix track system is famous for its realism. Use your imagination to build the coaster of your dreams! This eight-foot long racing model was built by combining four Cyclone kits.
The Cyclone model comes with a hand crank for the chain lift, but also has a direct fit for the Lego® Power Functions (#8882) and battery box (#8881), available for purchase separately.
