Lange überlegt, oft in den Einkaufswagen und wieder heraus geklickt und schließlich doch gekauft, landete Jabba's Palast schließlich doch bei mir.Erster Blick fiel auf die riesige Schachtel. Schade eigentlich, dass man bei uns auf der Schachtel keine Infos über die Anzahl der erhaltenen Teile bekommt, sonst könnte man dieses Set noch besser mit dem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis der "Schlacht um Helms Klamm" (Lego Herr der Ringe 9474 - Die Schlacht um Helms Klamm) vergleichen.
Beide kommen aus lizenzierten Themen, dass heißt tendenziell etwas teurer, da ja noch jemand außer der LEGO-Gruppe daran mitverdient. Beide sind preisgleich und um knapp € 140,- zu haben. Jedoch: Jabbas Palast hat 717 Teile, Helms Klamm 1368!! Das Set ist also beinahe doppelt so teuer!!! Generell lässt sich sagen, dass die (immer schon hohen) Preise für Star Wars-Sets langsam aber sicher wirklich zum Abgewöhnen sind! Vermutlich haben die Herrschaften bei LucasArts mitbekommen, wie gut sich diese Sets verkaufen und bei der Lizenzvertragsverlängerung bis 2022 (!) ein größeres Stück vom Kuchen verlangt - was natürlich an uns Lego-LiebhaberInnen weitergegeben wird. Also für den Preis gibt es wirklich ein großes, großes Minus...Interessant (und für mich zu spät *grummel*) ist, dass Amazon Jabba's Palace mittlerweile um etwas über 110,- € verkauft, was Preis/Leistung ETWAS besser macht.
