They did it a few times with Castle and Lego City except there was about two to three decades between their release dates.That being said, no Lego stores would have it in stock since it was retired but also most stores wouldn't have it mostly since it was declared a Hard to Find item, meaning it's really only sold online or in the Lego stores.Your best bet is probably to look on a specific Lego site like Bricklink or you could go to Amazon. Maybe, as a last resort, you could use EBay. One thing I have done in the past is to just buy the instruction manual and then rummage around in your collection to find the pieces.
