Ever looked at a stack of Lego bricks and thought to yourself, ‘I’d love to eat that’? But just in case any of us are struck with a sudden urge to stick brightly coloured bricks in our mouths, a group of gimmicky food geniuses have stepped up to offer the Lego burgers of your fevered dreams. To be clear, these are not burgers made of actual Lego. Those would be terrible for your teeth and not very tasty. Instead, Brick Burger, a chain in the Philippines, serves up brick burgers. Which are burgers inspired by Lego bricks. The buns have been made using a special Lego-esque mould, and are available in multiple Lego-appropriate shades. So there’s a bright red burger bun, a black burger bun, and a yellow burger bun. They don’t look particularly appetising, if we’re honest (how can a bun be that red?), but they’re very Instagrammable and perfect for any Lego-obsessed kids. The burgers themselves are made using pure Australian beef, and come topped with all manner of deliciousness. And alongside their brick burgers, the chain sticks to the Lego theme with Lego figurines placed around each restaurant, giant Lego brick ceiling lights, Lego style chairs, and Lego sets customers can play with while they wait for their food to arrive at their table. They also serve dishes like pasta and chicken wings which, confusingly, have nothing to do with Lego.
