The Lego Batman Movie Delivers A Delightful New TrailerUpvotes1CommentsCommentsShare to GoogleShare to RedditWritten By David Gelmini on 2016-11-05 02:26:00Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice March 25th, 2016Learn MoreBecause we can never have enough Batman in our lives, Warner Bros. have released a new trailer for The Lego Batman Movie, and unsurprisingly, it delivers the laughs by the bucketload. It even has jokes aimed at Batman vs. Superman, apparently even they realise that the film was a misstep. And with DC's live-action adaptations being grim and sordid affairs these days, it sure does feel refreshing to be able to sit back and laugh for once. Starring Will Arnett as the Caped Crusader, Ralph Fiennes as his loyal butler Alfred, and Zach Galifianakis as the sinister Joker, The Lego Batman Movie will be released on February 10, 2017. And in the case of Pacific Rim, they were very, very right. That movie did have the “most awesome speech since Independence Day.” Thankfully, the team at Screen Junkies backed that claim up by mashing together Idris “We Are Cancelling the Apocalypse” Elba and Bill “We Will Not Go Quietly Into the Night” Pullman.

That’s just the main highlight. The Honest Trailer also goes after everything else about Pacific Rim that made it the most fun popcorn flick of the summer – but also kind of dumb. The (non)romantic subplot, the late-to-the-game use of the sword (sword!), and the scientifically questionable “neural bridge” all get called out. So does the movie’s main premise. “When giant aliens emerge from this iTunes visualizer at the bottom of the ocean,” the trailer’s sarcastic voiceover booms. “The entire world’s resources will be spent on building giant robots to punch them in the face.” Basically, this trailer is as over-the-top and silly as Guillermo del Toro’s mechs vs. kaiju movie itself. You and your inner nine-year-old will love every second of it.Written By Chris on 2016-02-03 12:17:32Star Wars: The Last Jedi December 15th, 2017Learn MoreLEGO are at it again, with a new addition to the popular LEGO Videogame series. Hit the jump to check out the trailer.  The film also features the voices of Elizabeth Banks, Will Arentt, Liam Neeson, Charlie Day, Alison Brie, Nick Offerman, and Morgan Freeman.  The LEGO Movie opens in 3D on February 7, 2014. Here’s the official synopsis for The LEGO Movie:

The original 3D computer animated story follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared. Chris Pratt (“Moneyball”) stars as the voice of Emmet. Will Ferrell (“The Campaign”) stars as the voice of his primary adversary, President Business, an erudite, anal-retentive CEO who has a hard time balancing world domination with micro-managing his own life; while Liam Neeson (“Taken” and “Taken 2,” Oscar nominee for “Schindler’s List”) voices the president’s powerful henchman, known as Bad Cop, who will stop at nothing to catch Emmet. Starring as Emmet’s fellow travelers are Oscar® winner Morgan Freeman (“Million Dollar Baby”), as Vitruvius, an old mystic; Elizabeth Banks (“The Hunger Games,” Emmy nominee for “30 Rock”), as tough-as-nails Lucy, who mistakes Emmet for the savior of the world and guides him on his quest;
