Het was een feestelijk gebeuren, met veel lekkers en vooral veel LEGO. Emet, de hoofdrolspeler uit de film liep er rond, kinderen (en volwassenen) konden op de foto, die daarna bewerkt werd zodat het leek alsof ze op een filmposter van De Lego Film stonden, er waren spelconsoles waarop de nieuwste LEGO videogame gespeeld kon worden (release is ook woensdag 12 februari, tegelijk met de film) en dan was er natuurlijk nog de filmset. In de trailer waar de set opgebouwd is, kon iedereen (vanaf 3 jaar tot 103) een Lego autootje maken die vervolgens op de echte set mocht rondrijden.
Dit autootje werd gefilmd en iedereen die dit gedaan heeft krijgt binnen een paar dagen een met special effects en geluid gemonteerde eigen LEGO MOVIE thuis gestuurd, starring zijn/haar eigen auto. Alleen vandaag (zaterdag 8 februari) kun je de LEGO Movie filmset in Nederland gaan bekijken. Deze staat op de Neude in Utrecht (op loopafstand van Utrecht CS). Voor echte LEGO fans een absolute aanrader; is toch helemaal leuk om straks in de echte film de set terug te zien! En met de met de opgenomen filmscène maak je ook nog kans op een reis voor 4 personen naar de LEGO® fabriek en het LEGOLAND® Park in Denemarken. The track takes all that's great about the regular Blu-ray's DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 lossless soundtrack and adds a few key overhead elements and some positive support details by way of the added height channels to improve upon an already stellar listen. This review is based on an 11.1 setup, adding four "height" channels to the traditional 7.1 Essentially, the nuts-and-bolts basics are very similar. The film's wide range of music remains a highlight, with sharp, well defined instrumentals and lyrics in every song, regardless of style. Spacing is superb, and the songs spread through the stage and wrap around the back for a seamless and impressively immersive surround sensation. Action effects remain a highlight, with explosions and zipping and flying chaos, particularly at the end but a bit earlier when the pigs make off with the eggs. Explosions are healthily deep, not too potent but satisfying in depth and delivery. The same can be said of Terrence's bellows and grunts that play with a subwoofer-engaging heft.
