The wicked Lord Business (Will Ferrell) is determined to destroy the Lego universe and rebuild it using glue - which goes against the very nature of Lego. Mistaken as the 'Special', the only surviving Master Builder, the rather ordinary Emmet (Pratt) is selected to lead a group of figures on a mission to put a stop to Lord Business's evil plan. Emmet is helped by wise wizard Vitruvius (Freeman), tough girl Wyldstyle (Banks) and DC superhero Batman (Arnett), but can he find something extraordinary within himself in order to save the world?

The film also features the voices of Channing Tatum, Liam Neeson, Nick Offerman, Alison Brie and Jonah Hill. OK but not to my taste but brilliantly made. The Lego movie was surprisingly good, so much so I bought the DVD.It's witty and the animation is really charming. My grandson loves Lego so I thought the movie would keep him occupied but after about 8 minutes he became disinterested. Here is the thing, I love slapstick, the old Animaniacs and Pixar like humor and all that, but I didn't even chuckle and not even sure I am going to continue.

Fantastic on so many levels and funny through out. Memories of Lego bought back. Think I was quite surprised for what was a hero's journey, it still had its own take within its world.Nothing more to be said See and discover other items: children's films, films for kids DVD & Blu-ray > English Subtitles DVD & Blu-ray > Movies Would you like to update product info or give feedback on images? Fox Studios, Moore Park, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia In order to add more realism to the movie, the Lego bricks have scratches, fading, and even fingerprints to make the movie look like someone was manipulating real bricks in a stop-motion fashion. The Bricks are also affected by their locations, with the bricks in The Old West realm being more dusty and faded from the sunlight. During Metal Beard's tale, the first time they show the Relic Room there is a gummy bear on the pillar between the floppy disc and golf ball, and there is a highlighter behind the golf ball between the key and pen cap. When they zoom in on the battery, it's sitting where the highlighter was and a bottle of white out is where the gummy bear was. (In scenes with Lord Business and Good Cop/Bad Cop, it consistently shows the white out and highlighter in those spots.) He's coming, cover your butts. The Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow Pictures logos are made up of Lego bricks. References For Me and My Gal (1942)
