CK Tsang has built a massive, Miniland-scale version of several dai pai dong, traditional open food stalls in Hong Kong, evoking delightful memories for those of us lucky to have visited the city.

Whether you’re in the mood for noodles, congee, or milk tea, it’s a safe bet you can find it at a dai pai dong. The night-time parade takes place on Saturday, the first day of the Lunar New Year, when 10 floats will light up the streets of Hong Kong's famous Tsim Sha Tsui shopping district.Hung, a full-time artist with studios in Hong Kong and Beijing, is one of Asia's three certified Lego professionals. The group comprises adult hobbyists who have turned their passion into a professional activity, Lego says on its website. Toyota Landcruiser 40 Series Last Updated 1 year ago. Click "Updates" above to see the latest. If you’ve spent any time in the Australian outback, or remote and rugged terrain elsewhere in the world, the Toyota Landcruiser four-wheel-drive would be a familiar sight.

And while these days you see plenty of Landcruisers in the city too, it is the early model 40 Series that has become an icon. In Australia, it set the standard for toughness and reliability in the four-wheel-drive market, building Toyota’s reputation and becoming a favourite in the mining, agriculture, construction and engineering sectors. In many other countries in the world, it was equally popular as a reliable vehicle for tough environments. My first car was a diesel 40 Series Landcruiser, and apart from the sentimental value, I knew the distinctive body shape and interesting features would make a great model. Having already built the Lego Mini Cooper and the Kombi, the 40 Series Landcruiser rounds out the trio nicely for those who like to get off-road. This model reproduces unique features of the BJ42 – the pinnacle of the 40 Series – such as the triple windscreen wipers of course with perhaps the only thing missing is the zebra-striped pattern on the seats.

I also included lots of detail with foot well vents on both driver and passenger sides, the chassis and running gear along with the leaf springs. Comprising approximately 1700 bricks, this model is a classic four-wheel-drive. Thanks to Amelia, Lachlan, Oliver and Glenn for helping to build the model and Ray for the photographsThe requested URL /archiver/?tid-24062404.html was not found on this server. It doesn't have nearly the same amount of charm or likeness as the mini bus poly. Nope, not at all. It's borderline hideous (in my opinion). So does the big one... Gotta agree about using 2 2x2 trans slopes./catalogPG.asp?P=2437&colorID=12In 1957 TLG produced this 1:40 scale (about the same size as this LEGO model) VW Beetle for VW Showrooms, as well as selling them as LEGO toys only in Denmark, Norway and Iceland.  These VWs are very rare and highly valued (over $500 each), and came in 8 colors....
