- 1 year agoAre they related to LEGO Mervel's Avengers? Then IGN Wiki has the answers! Which characters will I need to collect all the Gold Bricks, Minikits, Character Tokens and so on? Play the Story Mode through to the end of the game (go ahead and skip Lack of Insight, Ready A.I.M Fire, and Lost in The Aether and you'll find yourself on the SHIELD Helicarrier after the credits are done rolling. At this point, you have every Character you need (don't forget to actually purchase Loki so you can use his ice beam) except one that can dig and wouldn't you know it, there's one on the Helicarrier! Take the elevator from the flight deck down to the Control Room.  Take the exit on the left side of the room.  Walk down the hallway and enter the first door on your left (the Laboratory).  Talk to the scientist in the room and complete her quest to earn the Character Token for Iron Man (MK25)  (Click here for details on the quest).  Purchase him for the low price of 25,000 studs and you have every character you need to collect every goody in Free Play mode.

Which characters are in the game/how do I unlock this specific character? Check out this page for a full list of Characters and how to unlock them. Where the heck is the Hulkbuster armor? For some reason, the Hulkbuster armor is not available on the main Character Select screen.  Instead, you have to select it from Tony Stark's Iron Man Suit Select screen seen below.  Once you've unlocked the Hulkbuster (simply complete Anger Management in Story Mode), switch to Tony Stark or any Iron Man suit and pull up the Character Select screen.  The below will pop up instead.  That's where you'll find the Hulkbuster armor. How do I pull the switch in the pic below? Hulk and other radioactive brutes can wade through the toxic goo but they're too large to pull the switch.  So which small characters can wade through the green sludge? There are a few others but Ultron is the one you'll definitely have if you've completed Story Mode. Where do I purchase Characters and Vehicles I've unlocked? When you're in Manhattan or one of the Hub Areas, simply hold down the Switch Characters Button to bring up the Character Select screen.

From here, you can purchase any character you've found a Character Token for. Vehicles can be purchased from the Vehicle Call Pads located around Manhattan and the Hub Areas. The blue pads are for land vehicles, the red are for flying vehicles.  Keep in mind that the Hub Areas limit with vehicles you can access so if you're shopping, make sure you do it from a Call Pad in Manhattan. I don't have 100% completion yet! What am I missing and where is it? Pause the game and you'll see a screen showing off how many Gold Bricks, Character Tokens and everything else you've collected in the game. Click the Area Totals Button (upper left corner of the screen) to get totals for the area you're currently in. You can also travel to space (from the menu) and see the totals for each Story Chapter and Hub Area. Additionally, in Manhattan and the Hub Areas, a radar in the corner of the screen will point out collectibles.  Purple dots are Character/Vehicle Tokens, gold dots are Gold Bricks, orange dots are Stan Lee in Peril and blue dots are Vehicle Call Pads.

Do I have to complete a level in Free Play to keep the Minikits and stuff I've found? Feel free to Save and Exit a level at anytime.  Every doodad you've collected will be saved. Where are the Red Bricks? Which should I purchase first? You can find a list of Red Bricks and how to unlock them by visiting this page. We recommend you start with the Studs x2 Red Brick which you'll find in Struck Off The List in Free Play. This will make it easier to get True Avenger status on each level and purchase all the characters, vehicles and cheats. It costs a million Studs but if you're frugal, you should have it halfway through the main campaign. The Gold Brick, Minikit, Quest, and Stan Lee in Peril detectors are pretty handy too. So what happens when you 100 percent the game? - 1 year 9 months ago Times Square Off is the second level in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. Follow the guide below for a full walkthrough, the locations of all Minikits, and how to free Stan Lee in peril. G To reach this level, you must skydive off of the Shield Helicarrier and land in the park below.

Once on the ground, head to the gate and smash the streetlight. Build its pieces into a grate that Mr. Fantastic can squeeze through. On the other side, smash the blue satellite dish, then build its pieces into a transformation pad for Mr. Fantastic. Use it to open the gate and let Captain America out.   Hit the shield switch on the side of the building to release a ladder, then switch to Mr. Fantastic and climb up. Glide over the gap and use the console on the wall to activate two lasers. Use Captain America’s shield to deflect the beams into the circuitry above, opening the door.   Deal with all the Octobots around where you start. Once you have done that, more Octobots will burst through the wall, creating pieces for a Fantastic 4 pad. Build the pad, then stretch Mr. Fantastic into a screwdriver to remove the bars covering the Shield Switch. Activate the switch, turning on the elevator to the second level. Going up to the second level will scare off Doc Ock, who will wreck the place and set it on fire on his way out.

Equip Captain America's Shield and walk through the fire to the left half of the area. Use the pieces Doc Ock created when he left to build a Grate Portal, and take Mr. Fantastic over to join Captain America. Once there, have Mr. Fantastic rip open the wall using the attachment point, creating pieces that can be build into a Shield Switch. Activate the switch, then use the computer terminal (up the ladder) to plug in the ray gun. Hop on the red button to turn it on.   The ray gun will destroy some stuff on the other side of the area, creating pieces for a Captain America pad. Go back to the other side of the area (up the ladder and through the fires), then build and use it to direct the ray gun's ray at each of the two receptors on the wall. Once each of the receptors is full, the floor will open, revealing an elevator. Get in and use it to go to the next area. Move to the right of the elevator and down the ladder. Use Mr. Fantastic to glide over the gap between roofs, then yank the attachment point to rip open the wall and reveal pieces that will become a ladder, once built.

Climb the ladder and destroy the crates at the end of the hallway, which will reveal pieces for a push pad. Build and push the push pad, moving the satellite dish such that the acrobatic Captain America can use it to cross the gap between roofs. Once across the gap, activate the Shield Switch to allow Mr. Fantastic to use the Grate portal to join you. Backtrack a little bit and destroy the air conditioning unit and the surrounding pipes to reveal pieces to build a Fantastic 4 pad. Use the pad to stretch Mr. Fantastic into a water pump to raise the pressure in the water tower, causing it to fail. Use the pieces it left behind to build a zip-line to cross to the next roof. Doc Ock is is waiting at the other end of the zip-line and will grab the first character who crosses. Use the other character to make him let go. Climb up the trail of destruction, following Doc Ock and causing him to flee to another building. Use Captain America's shield to take out one support of the "HOTEL" sign, and then the other, creating a bridge which you can cross.

On the right side of the lower roof of the hotel building, use Captain America's shield to drop a ladder. As Captain America, walk through the fire (by equipping your shield), then wall-jump up to the upper roof. Destroy the air conditioning unit, then use the pieces to build a shield switch. Activate the shield switch to send the elevator down a floor. Now, as Mr. Fantastic, climb the ladder, then go left, then use the attachment point to go up a floor. Hop in the elevator and stand on the red button to join Captain America on the upper roof. Glide across the gap to the right, then build a zip-line so the Captain America can come across and join you.   Use Mr. Fantastic to yank the bugle off of the "DAILY BUGLE" sign, then build the resulting pieces into a Fantastic 4 pad. Use the Fantastic 4 pad to stretch Mr. Fantastic into a crane with a wrecking ball, which will smash Doc Ock into a wall, triggering a cutscene. Use Mr. Fantastic to yank over the microwave dish tower, creating a bridge to the second roof.

Use Spider-Man to climb up the pipes on the left, then yank the covers off the motor, turning on the fans below to get the other characters to follow you. Destroy the junk to the right of the fan motor and build the resulting pieces into a computer terminal, which will open the gate to the roof garden when activated by Mr. Fantastic. At the other end of the roof garden, stretch Mr. Fantastic into a rocket that will partially destroy the Spider-Man billboard. Use the attachment points to yank it over the rest of the way. Cross the billboard-bridge, then head through the hole in the building. BOSS BATTLE - DR. OCTOPUSDoc Ock will stomp around after you on his robotic arms.If he grabs you, simply switch to the other character, and he will eventually release whoever he has.Eventually, he will get one of his arms stuck. Stand on the green icon beside the stuck arm and follow the button prompt. Repeat this for two more arms, then punch him one final time to finish the level. You will need Venom and Galactus to completeFree Play for this level.

Use a magnetically-enabled character to open the safe under the balcony where Doc Ock is. Minikit #1 is inside. Use explosives to blow up the metal grating to the right of the elevator, then an electrically-enabled character to shoot some electricity into the electrical socket. This will cause part of the wall to retract, revealing Minikit #2 (and H.E.R.B.I.E., who claims to have been in there since 1978). To the left of the elevator on the bottom level, destroy the small pile of junk, then use Wolverine to dig up some Cosmic pieces. Use Galactus to build the pieces into a rocket, which will launch and drop Minikit #3 on the other side of the fires. Put them out and walk across to claim it. "Gently Persuade" 5 greenhouses to grow to get Minikit #4:1. Below the satellite dish control room.2. Beside the first Shield Switch.3. Beside the big green "$" sign.4. On the right side of the upper roof of the hotel building.5. On the left side of the upper roof of the hotel building. At the far end of the zipline, use explosives to blow up the silver grate, revealing a Venom portal.

Minikit #5 is at the other end of the portal. Use explosives to destroy the silver objects above the fan motor, then use a character with Telekinesis to assemble and operate a pump. This will cause the water tower to burst, revealing Stan Lee. Destroy the silver furniture at the right end of the pool and build the pieces into a pump. Jump on the pump to raise a Fantastic 4 Pad from the pool. Use the pad to stretch Mr. Fantastic into a lawnmower, mowing the thick grass and finding Minikit #6. Use a heat-enabled character to destroy the gold fire extinguisher beside the right end of the pool, destroying the barbecue along with it. Douse the flames from the barbecue explosion to retrieve Minikit #7. Use a large character to rip open the Police van in the lower-left corner to release Minikit #8. Use explosives to get rid of the silver car to the right of the giant hole, then use Hulk to smash though the broken part of the road, revealing Minikit #9. Blow the tops off of 5 fire hydrants to get Minikit #10:1.
