Disney is expecting to loose at least $150 million on the film. Of course this wasn’t a surprise. A couple of years ago a similar film, Cowboys & Aliens, flopped as well. I have no idea why they keep pushing these Western-themed films; today’s movie-going crowd is just not as enamored with cowboy movies as previous generations. They should have known that… For LEGO fans however this is not so bad news; it just means that the LEGO Lone Ranger sets are going on sale! And, as you know, LEGO did a wonderful job on these sets! The design, the selection, the colors, and the minifigs are all really sweet. Sets can also sell out quite fast, but I expect LEGO Lone Ranger sets to be around until the end of they year before they fully sell out at various retailers.
