Killer Moth, also known as Drury Walker, is a minor enemy of Batman and Batgirl with similar equipment. He has appeared in LEGO Batman: The Video Game and returned in LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes. He reappeared in LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham and appeared in physical form in the summer 2016 set 76054 Batman: Scarecrow Harvest Of Fear. Killer Moth in his physical form is very similar to his previous appearances in the video games. The biggest difference is in his helmet, which is more detailed and contoured, and the translucent neon orange head underneath. He uses the Fairy's wings in orange. His torso is purple and shows his star-like moth symbol and some muscle detailing, as well as a yellow belt. His legs are orange with green stripes, and his hands are also orange. Drury Walker was a common criminal who was inspired by Batman to become the Dark Knight of villains. Escaping from his cell, he donned a moth-motif and would rescue and assist villains, for a fee. Walker created a fortune as Killer Moth and donned another secret identity, the rich Cameron van Cleer, who would appear innocent when Walker/Killer Moth were arrested.

Killer Moth was also a large part of Barbara Gordon's transformation into Batgirl. When Moth planned on kidnapping Bruce Wayne at a costume party, Barbara (in a homemade, "female-Batman" suit) thwarted him. In LEGO Batman: The Videogame's story, Killer Moth was a part of The Joker's group, which also consisted of Mad Hatter, Scarecrow, and Harley Quinn. Killer Moth asstisted The Joker in reaching the Gotham City Cathedral and freeing Harley Quinn from Commissioner Gordon and the Police Officers once Harley Quinn was freed, Commissioner Gordon contacted Batman and informed him of the attack. Killer Moth was attracted to the floodlight on the Batwing which Batman arrived in. Batman and Robin gave chase to Killer Moth, and eventually they cornered and defeated him, sending him back to Arkham Asylum. In the DS version of LEGO Batman: The Videogame, Moth can be found in level one of the villain hunt mode. Killer Moth reappears in LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes. He is one of the Asylum Escapees and proceeds to attack the Gotham Power Plant.

He is a minor villain, and a police officer stated jokingly that he is "no joke". He can be found on the top of the Power Station, and can be bought for 100,000 studs after he is defeated. In the portable version, he costs 50,000 studs and plays no role in the story. Killer Moth is actually Drury Walker, a small-time crook whom no one ever took seriously until he decided to pattern himself after Batman, but as a super villain instead of a hero. Despite his many gadgets (including gliding wings and a web-firing cocoon gun), his unfortunate fashion choices and his knack for being easily defeated has made him a laughingstock in Gotham’s criminal community. And it's even more awesome because the Killer Moth is in it! Can yet another mini-figure be far behind? Check out the commercial featuring Killer Moth here! This weekend I went to Stan Lee's Comic Con (formally known as Comikaze) and found the most awesome Killer Moth cosplayer - his name is Caden and I think he did an amazing job on his costume! There are so many great cosplayers out there on the internet and many of them are dressing up as the Killer Moth! First up is Julie Wilhelm who makes a very fetching Killer Moth, don't you think? Check out his great gallery of photos here! Another Killer Moth cosplayer (Jelloconcoction) was seen at WizWorld Chicago! A homemade Killer Moth suit found online It's been 15 years since Heroclix - the superhero miniatures game - came out and for almost that entire time I campaigned endlessly to get the classic Killer Moth on the character roster. My pal, Heroclix lead designer Seth Johnson, told me that he had Killer Moth on the "set-list" many times but he was always cut at the last minute.

Wiz-Kids recently announced that the classic Killer Moth is a part of their upcoming Joker's Wild set!! Keep your eyes peeled for these Heroclix minis this November! It's been 8 years since the Killer Moth showed up in the Batman Lego videogame and we're finally getting a Killer Moth Lego figure!! But not one, but two sets!is the Scarecrow Harvest of Fear set (76054) that comes with Killer Moth, Blue Beetle, Scarecrow, Batman and a terrified farmer as well as a cool batcopter, tractor and evil thresher! The Killer Moth figure is a perfect representation of the character from the video game (and the silver age comic books!) - especially cool is his recessed red eyes and his "second face" of Cameron Van Cleer getting thwarted by the caped crusader! Also later this year is coming a Killer Moth vs Batman two pack that comes with some sort of bug-mobile and a new version of Killer Moth. Could this be the Killer Moth as seen in the upcoming Lego Batman movie? I just know it's a great time to be a Killer Moth fan!

There have been thousands of heroes and villains in Heroclix, the super hero miniatures game by Wizkids; but one character hasn't been 'clixed - the Killer Moth! But you can help make Killer Moth finally get his due! Go to The DC Heroclix fan vote round 3 and VOTE KILLER MOTH! Our thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family. You can read more about Schwartz's contributions to comics here and here. My pal, Scott Collyer, sent me screen shots that show that Killer Moth shows up in the new Batman: Arkham Asylum video game!I don't know if Killer is a character that you fight or not during the game, but his bio can be found in the bonus material. Here's a nifty little lego Killer Moth. I think the detail work on the chest and legs are quite well done!Another Lego Killer Moth! Clever idea to use stickers for the legging stripes! One more nicely made Killer Moth Lego. You'd think Lego would get the hint and make a "real" Lego Killer Moth set! A Lego Killer Moth Mobile would be awesome!

And finally, we have Killer Moth made from a Mighty Muggs. I wonder if DC Direct will finally get the hint and make a Killer Moth figure. James Robinson was one of my favorite writers before he wrote "Justice League: Cry For Justice" (He wrote "Starman" - one of my all time favorite comic series) but he's moved even further up in my book because he included the Killer Moth (wearing his silver age costume no less!) in the first issue!OK, granted the Atom kicks his butt and tries to pop his brain and it isn't clear whether KM is a resurrected Drury Walker/Cameron Van Cleer or someone new wearing the costume but it's fantastic to see KM in his classic costume again! (I'm sure we have to thank the Mattel figure for that) Who knew that almost one year ago when I asked James Tucker and company for the Killer Moth to appear in the brilliant Brave and the Bold cartoon, they already had me covered.Check out these AWESOME screen shots from the upcoming episode featuring Killer Moth! (and Bat-Mite and a whole mess of other classic Batman villains and tons of "in jokes"!)

That's right, thanks to Mattel's mix-up with the variant Superman figures, I still haven't received my Killer Moth figure from my e-tailer!More updates to come as this story develops!! Word is that the Mattel DC Universe Classics wave 6 which includes the Killer Moth, is finally hitting Wal-Marts and Targets! As many of you may know, my first site: the original was shut down by AOL Hometown on Oct 31 (sniff). I am attempting to migrate content over to this blog, but there's a lot of stuff - so please be patient! To give you an idea of what I'm dealing with, here is a list of all of Killer Moth's comic and other appearances. I hope to have blog entries on all of these in the future. Stick around, as you can see, there's still lots of great info on our favorite villain coming! "Gotham City is home to many notorious and outlandish super criminals, but there is only one as awesome, as outstanding, as evil as !"I found this fan film online which features Batman vs. the ! In this version, the lives with his little brother, has an overwhelming desire for Batman's mask and can be defeated by mothballs. OK, so the film is a pretty amateurish, but their heart's in the right place!Watch it hereAnd you can see additional wackiness including his Vlog over at the creator's (MysteryGuy33) home page here. As well as being the world's biggest Killer Moth fan, I am also a big fan of Wizkids' Heroclix game. For years, I have been trying to convince their design teams to make a 'clix based on the silver age . According to their ex-lead designer, the was on their set lists twice only to be dropped both times.Well, on Wizkids' blog, they're opening a contest for a fan-voted heroclix figure. I think to myself "this might be my only chance to get a made" - so, if you are a fan of heroclix and a fan of the (if you aren't, what are you doing on this blog??), then please help me out and take part in the democratic process and for the .
