Franchises are the brands that are represented in LEGO Dimensions. Each franchise has its own Adventure World, and all after Year 2 have a Battle Arena. Warner Bros. and TT Games have announced that more franchises are scheduled to be added to the game, with launches spanning from now to early 2018, and most of the in-game content being introduced through digitally downloaded updates. There are a total of 30 franchises altogetherThe 2015 LA Auto Show offered something for everyone(Credit: CC Weiss/Gizmag)Beyond the brand new cars of the 2015 LA Auto Show, there are plenty of other notable rides on show. In fact, some of the most interesting cars there are decades old – or built to look like it. The LA show also gets a fair amount of spillover from SEMA, with customs and restorations galore. Take a tour of this side of the show in our feature gallery. We missed DiMora Motorcar's press conference, but it was nearly impossible to miss its booth in the atrium. Many cars can be referred to as rolling artwork, but few of them so literally as DiMora's Vicci 6.2 Emperor.

This retro-styled, rolling-fendered roadster features original artwork by Taiwanese artist Master Lee Sun-Don, who brushes a unique painting for each car in the 25-model Emperor Series, which DiMora spends 750 man-hours recreating on the hood and side panels. The process ends with the laying of 24-karat gold leaf. The DiMora team also spent plenty of time building a 1930s-style roadster up around a 430-hp 6.2-liter GM LS3 V8. The car's body is constructed using the company's Carbon DFD technology, maintaining a curb weight of 2,820 lb (1,279 kg). With the standard GM 4-speed automatic transmission, it can hit 60 mph (96.5 mph) in four seconds, which isn't bad for an open-top, engined painting. Features like the Italian leather interior trim, English Wilton wool carpeting and included original wall painting contribute to the US$1.2 million price. An unexpected but very unique car we ran into was the Peel P50, the world's smallest production car. We've covered a bit of the history of the original 1960s one-seater in the past, and it was fun seeing it alongside its larger sibling, the Trident, in Galpin's Hall of Customs.

A few other highlights worth noting: A beautiful, curvaceous 1968 33 Stradale on display at Alfa Romeo's booth Lexus's hoverboard still looks pretty cool on display Take a tour of our concept car photo gallery for more timeless classics, wild custom creations, and other sights of the 2015 LA Auto Show, which runs through the weekend.“Renee at Astonishing Cakes did a fantastic job creating a custom cake for a baby shower I hosted for a friend.” “It was the hit of the party, not only for the design but it was delicious as well!!!” “She came up with a design from The Empire Strikes Back, it was awesome.”how could I have missed this - it's been open for 6 months. As Bond chases down leads with his now-customary deadly efficiency, he finds himself being pushed outside the protection of the intelligence community by the unseen forces he is trying to learn more about and both the CIA and MI6 would consider it expedient if he were eliminated. While this is certainly a good action adventure with an interesting story involving the illusion and abuse of international power-sharing and an action hero learning not to kill, what it’s not, really, is a Bond movie.

There’s no sense of fun, style, joie de vive, if you will. Director Marc Forster also allows his editors to remove all sense of shape and elegance from the stunts and action (the coolest moment is Bond hopping over a hotel balcony; it’s not even in an action scene) making them largely indecipherable and indistinguishable from any other contemporary actioner. Perhaps now that Bond has got his re-education out of the way, next time franchise keepers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli will allow him and us to enjoy ourselves a bit more and instruct the editors to just calm down a bit. This movie contains mild swear words and strong melee violence, gun violence and mild nudity, mild sensuality, brief sexual violence. Classified 12A by BBFC. People can't get enough of watching objects like bowling balls, alarm clocks and bubble wrap suffer under massive amounts of pressure.

The latest show on the YouTube Hydraulic Press Channel involves a Lego minifig and a red brick. The Lego stood there bravely for a moment as the metal cylinder descended from above. The brown-haired figure went flying off the platform as the press came down, squirting away to temporary safety. But the Lego minifig wasn't long for this world. The press operator put him back in position, laying down this time. There was no way out, no last-minute James Bond heroics to save him. Goodbye, minifig, we hardly knew you.Nothing gets past the press. It's fascinating to watch a 3D Lego toy reduced to a plastic potato chip. The Lego brick didn't fare much better. It even got stuck to the top of the press. The press operator wasn't content with just a single minifig and a brick, so he sent an entire construction project under the press. Two Lego vehicles met their maker in a shattering display of unstoppable pressure. As with the minifig, parts of the plastic vans escaped. Those Lego creations are slippery.
