WindowsReleased in US: October 2, 1997Released in EU: October 15, 1997 This game has unused cinematics. This game has unused music. This game has unused sounds. This game has debugging material. LEGO Island is a rather open-ended LEGO game that was successful enough to guarantee many more LEGO PC games. Type ogel during gameplay to enable an extensive set of debugging keyboard shortcuts. There's also a debug feature accessible without the "ogel" code: press + on the Numpad and various character models will flip by. Each press will also cause the camera to temporarily jump up and to the right. While the viewpoint is altered, it's possible to freely walk off paths and through walls. This mode is very finicky; sometimes part or all of it will stop working for no obvious reason. This unused prerendered cutscene shows the Power Brick flying off the top of the Information Center to heroic fanfare, which doesn't really fit the game at all. The only time the Brick comes off the Center is when the Brickster steals it using the helicopter, which happens in an ordinary in-game cutscene (and doesn't match the climactic tone of this video very well).

A 22050 Hz version of the jail theme is stored with the rest of the music files, but only the 11025 Hz version ever plays. It was probably left out because it contrasts sharply with the rest of the island themes, which use the lower sample rate. This unused line is the original source of the message that plays when the game can't find the CD data. The used version has been edited (rather clumsily) to remove the word "back". It seems that the original idea was to play this message if the CD was ejected during gameplay, but doing so just crashes the game. This would have played when a new user name was entered in the registration book that matched an existing one, but instead this just signs on as the existing user. An undocumented registry entry allows the game to be run in a window instead of fullscreen. Set the value HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mindscape\LEGO Island\Full Screen to 0 to force windowed mode. This feature seems to be incomplete, though – it always uses the same rendering mode regardless of other settings.

Island Xtreme Stunts is the third and final video game in the LEGO Island series, released in 2002 and available on PC, Playstation 2 and Game Boy Advance. A GameCube version was planned, but scrapped. It was a cross-over between the themes Island Xtreme Stunts and Studios. Pepper is back for extreme action! Pepper's been hired to do the stunts in a brand new movie -- if the Brickster doesn't ruin all the scenes! Help Pepper drive, fly, jump, and skate through five extreme stunt games, while keeping the Brickster at bay. Plus there are puzzles to solve, cool trading cards to collect, and exciting sub-games to unlock in Pepper's awesome new adventure! LEGO Studios has come to LEGO Island, and Pepper Roni has been cast the lead role in the latest film, Xtreme Stunts. However, The Brickster has been released from jail, and has also been given a role as the movie's villain. The Brickster-Bots are also now used as assistants in the movie sets, though they still cause trouble around the island.

Most of the game is spent filming the scenes for the movie through minigames. However, after the filming for the movie is finished, the Brickster reveals that he was using the movie as a cover for his latest scheme, and that the Brickster-Bots have constructed a computer tower on top of Space Mountain that will destroy the island. The Brickster then says that he has kidnapped the Infomaniac and taken him to the top of the tower, warning that if anybody tries to go after him "The old man gets it". After driving across the island to the tower while being bombarded by Brickster-Bots, Pepper scales the mountain and tower. Pepper faces off against the Brickster and the Brickster-Bots at the top while Sky Lane tries to hack into the tower's computer to stop the impending explosion. Pepper defeats the Brickster, and Sky arrives in a helicopter, saying she wasn't able to stop the program, but was able to change the effect. Pepper and the Infomaniac escape with Sky on the helicopter, leaving the Brickster on top of his tower, which then self destructs.

The Brickster is arrested and put back in jail, and Xtreme Stunts is shown at the theater. LEGO Island Xtreme Stunts Outro Sign up or log in to customize your list. Here's how it works: Anybody can ask a question The best answers are voted up and rise to the top The Wikipedia article for Lego Island mentions 'Most of these buildings are based on real Lego sets in circulation at the time of release for the game.' I haven't played the game in a long time but the 6350 Pizzeria set reminds me of the Pizzeria in-game. The jail cell looks like something out of a set whilst the bridge and beach hut don't. While a few are indeed sets there are some I can't recall seeing (such as the Information Center, which was probably too specalised to deserve it's own set). As already pointed out the Pizzeria set is very similar to the one in-game. The set "6598 Metro PD Station" was the in-game police station, incuding jail. The helicopter could be build during in a minigame in the police station.

Accessories like the box of donuts and flaming pizza were not included in the set. The set "6334 Wave Jump Racers" was the beach lookout where you could start the jet-ski race around the island. The Lego race cars in the game were similar to these sets: 1477, 1990, 1517 and 1612. I can't find the racetrack start itself but it was in keeping of the Octan branding that was used. I thought the ambulance was set 6666 but I was wrong, the one in-game had a much longer sloped roof. The Bank (which was always closed?) I can't really remember anything along the lines of, and I think the houses up on the hill were just generic lego houses. Here is the Race Track: Set 6337 The Buggy: Set 6518 The shuttle from Set 6339 is seen ingame (Race, Outro). Also, the fire engine from Set 6340 is in the game, possible that it looks a bit different. I assume that the bank building was based on an alternative build of the 6598 metro pd station. It is not exactly the same, but it resembles the bank a lot.
