Official LEGO Comments 3 Hi all, This is my first project and hope you like it. Hulkbuster is a wonderful machine and he is so powerful. I decided to build one after the movie and also watched the hottoys show in HK this year. I spent nearly 2 weeks to design and build this lego model and used around 800 pieces to build that. I try my best to make it looks powerful. Since I also like Gundam so I believe I add some gundam design in the model accidentally :P. I put hulk in the model because I don't ironman minifigure at the moment. Sometimes not doing things by the book can lead to some pretty incredible builds. In the Marvel universe every superhero will have to fight the Hulk at least once. Hulk vs. Thor, Hulk vs. Wolverine, Hulk vs. Juggernaut… the DC Comics superheroes are not immune to the Hulk with Hulk vs. Superman, and Hulk vs. Batman.

Even Iron Man has had his share of Hulk fights. In such a fight, Tony Stark usually comes prepared and brings out his custom Hulk fighting armor… the Hulkbuster! Jonsanpedro has created a project for an official Lego Iron Man: Hulkbuster set over at the Lego Cuusoo page. The Hulkbuster proposed in this project is an amalgamation of  many suits. This particular version is an exoskeleton that fits over the standard Iron Man armor. This build merges together two of the most popular Lego themes out there. Iron Man and Mech suits, creating a huge fan base. This Hulkbuster is fully posable with multiple articulation points. Even the little Iron Man minifigure nestles in and become the “head” of the Mech. These details create a build that has a huge amount of charm and personality. Just look at this photo of Iron Man and Pepper Potts… Lego Stark Industries Armory / Iron Man Hall of ArmorMy LEGO Iron Man Hulkbuster project is now approved by LEGO CUUSOO. If my project gets 10k supporters LEGO will review and if it passes their evaluation (and after securing rights with Marvel) will produce it as a set.

You can login via Facebook/Twitter to vote/leave a comment. From the LEGO CUUSOO page:I’m a huge fan of the Iron Man Hulkbuster armor and when I started to collect Iron Man minifigures I’ve decided to create one to add to the armory. My first attempt to create a Hulkbuster armor that can be piloted by an Iron Man minifigure is when I got my hands on a Kai’s Fire Mech set from the LEGO Ninjago line. As you can see in the first picture I only modified the hands and ditched the gun right hand design. I was already happy with what I came up with but I was not satisfied with my final design. After looking at the other Hulkbuster builds from other LEGO enthusiasts in different forums I’ve decided to rebuild the armor, this time using an additional Fire Mech set and parts from the Iron Man Ultrabuild set.My challenge now is to create a sleek Hulkbuster Iron Man build using only parts from these 3 sets (2 x Fire Mech, 1 x Iron Man Ultrabuild). Thanks to the additional parts from the Fire Mech the minifigure is now fully enclosed except for the head.

I'm also quite happy that I was able to add more design elements thanks to the Ultrabuild's chest armor and the curved blocks and vents from the mech sets. The reasons for me not adding more parts are:1. I want to keep the costs to a minimum (cheaper to produce and at the same time more (again, budget friendly to consumers)2. I really want a design that doesn’t tower too much from the minifigures.3. I want to use parts that are already available to the market (again, cheaper to reproduce. No need to create new blocks). Please support this CUUSOO project if you want this set to be produced by LEGO. This set would look great next to your Iron Man minifigures. For my next project I'm thinking of building an armor for Captain America or War Machine just for the fun of it. It may not be comic book canon but I just want to see a mech with integrated designs from the Captain America Ultrabuild.Batman SpiderMan BatmanSpider ManIron SpiderIronman SuitIronman AvengersIronman FilmIronman ArmorIronman CosplayForward50 of Iron Man's suits from over the years (not an inclusive set, but awesome).

Need some spring break ideas for your little LEGO lovers? Add a pic of this gigantic LEGO Iron Man ‘Hulk Buster Smash Model’ to your inspiration board. Unveiled yesterday at The Toy Store on Oxford Street in London, this ‘marvel’ stands over eight feet tall and is made from more than a million bricks. The statue is mainly created using Iron Man’s signature colors of yellow gold and red, so enlist your little Avenger to round up the rest of his superhero crew to collect anywhere near the number of bricks needed in those two shades. The entire structure took more than 940 hours to build so this activity (plus lots of outdoor play time) should have your kid more than covered over her days off from school. Just make sure you have plenty of space and some floor support since the finished LEGO model weighs over a ton. Or you could just take a little jump across the pond and see the new installation in London. The Toy Store is no stranger to dramatic displays and stunts; each year dozens of adults transform over the holidays into characters including Harry Potter, Minions, and Stormtroopers.

I may even let them play with it. This is my NextYou played with it. You have built your own creations and you probably even visited its headquarters at Billund, Denmark, but wouldn’t it be nice to pretend that you actually worked there? That will be totally dope, right? Well, you know what? You may be able to do that – if Jonas AKA BrickJonas’s latest creation, LEGO Factory Playset has enough support on LEGO Ideas. Modeled after the famous Danish maker’s buildings in Billund, Denmark, this proposed playset is made up of three modules: the main building, a design studio, and a factory building. The Volkswagen Karmann Ghia introduced between 50s and 70s may not be as iconic as the VW Camper or the Beetle, but it was actually a very well received car of its time, having seen a production of no less than 445,000 cars and that’s not including the 41K or so made in Brazil for the South America markets.

Despite so, it remains largely as an enthusiast thing, which means you ought to be a huge VW nuts to actually know this car and appreciate its beauty. And I guess that kind of makes LEGO builder Mandylion777 one such enthusiast cos’ he actually put together a detailed LEGO model of the iconic Volkswagen Karmann Ghia. LEGO Technic Porsche 911 GT3 RS took realism in scale LEGO model to the next level, but can the same level of realism achieved or surpassed without Technic parts? As it turns, it can, as proven by LEGO Ideas contributor Ozzyeatingbats’ (no prize for guessing who this talented pal idolizes) creation called Jaguar E-Type Roadster. Remember the impressive custom LEGO Wall⋅E by Pixar animator Angus MacLane on LEGO Ideas? Well, not only did it make the votes, but it has emerged victorious and is now an official LEGO set. Boasting 677 pieces, this cute little lead star from Pixar animated blockbuster by the same name features true-to-movie Wall⋅E characteristics, including posable neck, adjustable head and arms, gripping hands, rolling tracks, and an opening trunk that can be used to protect the included last-plant-on-Earth from the bad artificial intelligence (not included).

We all know Tony Stark’s Iron Man Hulkbuster is going to appear in the second Avengers flick, The Age of Ultron. I am sure Iron Man’s fans, us included, are looking forward to it and being LEGO fans ourselves, we are also looking forward to a LEGO, preferably a UCS variant, of the Hulkbuster. There will be, definitely, but just that it probably won’t be UCS anyways. So your best bet is to vote up custom LEGO builder Jon San Pedro’s LEGO Iron Man Hulkbuster Project on LEGO Ideas. This project was submitted back in May 2013 (when it was still known as Cuusoo) and have since received over 7,000 supporters. However, it needs 10,000 votes to be considered by the Danish toy maker as an official set. That said, it has 92 days left on the calendar, which means if all of us fans want to see this beauty getting a shot as an official LEGO set, we all have to put in our votes. it took LEGO enthusiast Angus MacLane three years to complete this custom LEGO Wall⋅E. what makes Angus’ bricked Wall⋅E unique is, he actually started out while the animated movie was being created in late summer 2005.

it looks so realistic that you won’t even think that it was made out of LEGO bricks. thanks to Angus’ involvement in the movie, he has first hand knowledge of this lovely lead character of the Disney-Pixar box office hit animation. you could say this is an “insider job,” which the result speaks for themselves and being backed by 10,000 supporters over at LEGO Ideas only further corroborates the awesomeness of Angus’ creation. this is LEGO Wall⋅E and it now will have a shot of becoming a LEGO Ideas official set. if there is one thing missing from LEGO’s comprehensive Star Wars collection, it would be Lightsabers, well, the Lightsaber hilts to be exact. submitted to LEGO Ideas (formerly Cuusoo) by LEGO builder scott34567, this ‘life-size’ hilts are none other than Vader’s and Luke Skywalker’s, as used in the Return of the Jedi. well, the good news is, this project has garnered 10,000 supporters and is set to have a shot at being an official LEGO set after being reviewed by LEGO Ideas.

though that would take a while, since the next list of creations to be reviewed is already announced. according to the LEGO Lightsabers creator, the hilts are sturdy enough to be handled and like the ‘real-deal’ each hilt features the crystal necessary for the Force to manifest into the shaft of superheated plasma. the thing about LEGO is, the bigger the set, the more detail and majestic it will be (the custom Starcraft II Battlecruiser is one good example, though it never was an official set). there’s no other way, but the LEGO The Avengers Helicarrier by ysomt submitted to LEGO Ideas (formerly LEGO Cuusoo) kind of takes bigger a few steps too far. ysomt has created this monstrosity consisting of 22,694 bricks (!) and would measures 85.4 by 45.3 inches (217 by 115 cm) when built. and if it ever did garner the number of votes required for it to be considered by the Danish toy maker and eventually be made official, it would be the biggest official LEGO set ever to grace planet Earth, both in number of bricks and built size, and it would be one hard to beat.
