You are looking for a gift for your child that combines their love of LEGOs and superheroes. A LEGO Iron Man toy satisfies both of your child's loves. LEGO toys are a classic choice that suit a wide span of ages. You can purchase a set that includes the build-able Iron Man, or you may buy only Iron Man if you want to add another LEGO mini-figure to your child's collection. LEGO Iron Man sets include popular structures, allies, vehicles, and villains connected to the Iron Man franchise. The vast inventory on eBay lets you find a set suited to your child's interests and building abilities. A smaller set is ideal for the beginning builder, while more elaborate options keep even experienced builders entertained. With a custom Lego Iron Man, you are able to pick the Iron Man suit that your child prefers. Some of the available suit colors are black, silver, and red. When searching for a present for your child, you do not have to pick between two things. A LEGO Iron Man toy enables you to encourage your child's enthusiasm for multiple interests.

Five different LEGO Iron Man suits have been released by LEGO already (plus one Toy Fair exclusive), and there is at least one more on the way. You can check out these great instructions from Flickr member CK Tsang (a.k.a. chiukeung) to build your own LEGO Iron Man Mark I suit and LEGO Iron Man Iron Patriot suit. ➡ LEGO Iron Man Mark I Suit Building Instructions: it is actually quite unlikely that LEGO will release an Iron Man Mark I suit, so if you would like to add the Mark I to your collection, this is your chance. CK Tsang was kind enough to share not just the finished design, but step-by-step instructions on how to make your own Iron Man Mark I suit. S Here is a view of the LEGO Iron Man Mark I Suit from different angles, the design taking great advantage of the new LEGO space armor available in the Collectible Minifigure Series. T

Please note that you can click on the image to enlarge it for better readability and details: ➡ LEGO Iron Man Iron Patriot Instructions: if you would like to make your own LEGO Iron Patriot suit you can follow the instructions below. Please note that making the Iron Patriot will require a bit of painting and decal-ing. For painting you can use hobby-paint used for model-cars and airplanes. If you are in the USA I recommend Testors, a very nice hobby-paint that is cheap and works great for LEGO. Below are the steps on how to make your own LEGO Iron Patriot suit using some very basic LEGO elements as well as the helmet from the LEGO War Machine suit. (You can click on the image to enlarge.) As you can see the LEGO Iron Patriot suit will also need some decals for the chest, legs and feet. CK Chang was nice enough to provide these as well. You can download the PDF file here. P

lease note that download requires that you have a Facebook account and that you “Like” the page. If you don’t have a Facebook account you can download the decals here: DOWNLOAD And there you have it! Two more suits for your collection! If you don’t yet own a LEGO Iron Man set, I would highly recommend you check out the currently available LEGO Marvel Super Heroes sets at the Online LEGO Shop. The #76006 LEGO Super Heroes Iron Man Sea Port Battle is an especially nice set with two Iron Man suits for only $20! 😀

And you might also like to check out the LEGO Super Heroes section for more news, reviews and discussions, or select from these recent posts: CK Tsang (Chiukeung) has made a great little model of the Ironman Mark One Armor, with HK Lug. It’s a pretty great rendition of the first Ironman suit, at minifig scale.

Follow the guide below for a full walkthrough, the locations of all Minikits, and how to free Stan Lee in peril. G Use the Vehicle Call-in point to return to the Hellicarrier, then follow the ghost studs and skydive back down to Manhattan. Continue following the ghost studs to Stark Tower. Once there, use Captain America’s shield to open the shutter, then switch to Iron Man and activate the console. Redirect the power by flipping the arrows and the door will open.   There is a shield switch on the back wall at the beginning of the level.  Break the cover over it, then activate it with Captain America.  Run into the small room this opens and break everything inside, then assemble a computer panel that Iron Man can use.  Use the cursor to take down the three glowing columns on the display. The barriers will now flash on and off, allowing you to run past them if you time it right.  Head through all three until a laser turret pops up.  Stand Captain America on the star panel and use his shield to reflect the laser back at the turret until it explodes.

Assemble the pieces released into another computer panel and activate it.  Fly the drone out of the sealed room (there is an opening in the wall, near the ceiling) and onto the glowing switch on the right wall.  Stand Iron Man on the target revealed in order to put him into the Mark 1 suit.   Run back to the left and use Iron Man's explosives on the silver cage on the back wall, then activate the revealed shield switch.  Deal with the enemies inside the second room, then stand on the buttons in the elevator at the back. Head down the stairs and into a recessed area in the back, where you'll find a switch.  Pull it to release a motorized platform.  Leave Captain America there and take Iron Man over to the computer panel in front of the glass wall.  Activate it to bring the platform over to where Captain America can jump on and ride it over to a burning corridor.  Use his shield to cross the flames, then break the console in the corner, bringing down the laser barriers.   In the next room, explode the silver clamps on the door, then use the poles on the wall to jump Captain America up to the upper level.

Run around the balcony and back inside, then jump up and hang from the lever to the left of the door.  This will activate a powerful fan that can waft Iron Man up.  Use him to blow up the silver hatch on the back wall of the elevator shaft to the right.   Jump down, and after fighting off enemies, run all the way to the right to blow the silver clamps off a door, giving you access to jump walls that Captain America can use to go upstairs.  Climb on top of the circular thing and push the turnstile switch, then blow up the wiring revealed below.  This will bring down the barrier on the stairs, but also cause lasers to start firing.  Use Captain America's shield on the star platform to direct them at panels on either side of the door.   Run into the next hallway, and use another star platform to take out a second laser turret.  Assemble the pieces into two levers on either side of the door, then hang both characters from them to open the door. In Jarvis' chamber, there are shield switches on the back wall.

Activate them, then use the star platform to direct the laser beam towards the right electrical panel.  When a target appears in the center of the platform, stand Iron Man on it to receive the Mark 42 suit. The Mark 42 suit has a laser that will allow you to cut through the gold wall at the back of the room.  Do so, then run through it. BOSS FIGHT: MANDARINTake down the requisite number of enemies.  When a health meter appears over the Hulkbuster suit, start shooting it.  The other suits will fly out to join you.  Once the health meter has been depleted to a certain extent, Mandarin will take out the other suits.  Assemble the pieces into an EMP generator, then activate it with the shield switch on top.  When Mandarin drops to the ground, use Iron Man's laser to take out the gold panel on the back of the Hulkbuster suit and finish the level. To the far right, there use telekinetic powers on half the cabinets, and webs on the other half, then build with the remains. Use an electrically charged character to power up the transformer and two robot arms will build Minikit #1 for you to grab.

In the same vicinity, there is a goon behind a glass wall. Use telepathy on him and flip the switch next to him. This will open a door to the left. Go inside there and use telekinesis on the wheels, and magnetism on the engine of the vehicle. Get in and drive all the way to the left for Minikit #2.   Note: This mission will not progress past this area until you make Tony Stark get in the Mark 1 armor. Immediately after entering, head towards the camera and use a sand character to rescue Stan Lee.   Fly up to the top of the elevator and go outside through the nearby door. Fly straight up to grab Minikit #3. Use a heat ray to melt the five Iron Man holograms to claim Minikit #4:1. On the first floor, next to the fan room.2. To the far right, in the room above the agility climb walls.3. Before you go through the door opened by Captain America's laser deflection, look in the room immediately to the right of it.4. After going through the door, it's on the right side of the hallway.5. In the round room at the end of the hallway, it's on the right side.
