The set is big, bad, and incredibly fun. Plus there are eight minifigures; several of them unique to the set. So let’s take a closer look. Here is the official description of the set: Rescue rookie heroes from the horrifying Jokerland! The Joker and his team of villains have transformed Gotham City’s amusement park into the nightmarish Jokerland and trapped Starfire, Beast Boy and Robin. Drive to the rescue with Batman in the awesome Batmobile. Dodge the cannon and target the clown robot with the shooting missiles. Then it’s time for some serious super-jumping action to bring down the villains. Bopple The Penguin from his podium. Waunch a perfectly aimed jump to release Robin from his upside-down bike ride with Harley Quinn. Pake down Poison Ivy from her swinging branch. Finally, knock The Joker from the clown’s mouth down the slide and into the poison pool chamber! Includes 8 minifigures with assorted accessories: Batman, Robin, Beast Boy, Starfire, The Penguin, The Joker, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn. 1

rice: $119.99 – BUY HERE Basically what we have here is an amusement park that has gone bad, which actually opens up the opportunity to place this set right into your LEGO City layout. The fact that the various rides are separate units allows you to put them in whatever configuration you want – making the set extremely versatile. It would be quite fun to mix the LEGO Super Heroes Jokerland with the #10247 LEGO Creator Ferris Wheel and the #10244 LEGO Creator Fairground Mixer for a huge fairground with hidden evil rides. J
There are four rides in the set, and again, you can configure them any way you want. The Joker ride features a clown face with tilting hat, rolling eyes, mouth with podium for The Joker, slide, poison pool chamber and a mirror house. It is the largest of the rides and measures 11” (29cm) high, 9” (23cm) wide and 3” (9cm) deep. As you will see in the video-review below by JANGBRiCKS it is full of fun play-features. The Poison Ivy ride features 3 seats, man-eating plant with snapping jaws, and handcuffs. Th

e Harley Quinn ride includes a motorbike in a new color, attachment underneath for captured passenger, handcuffs, Super-Jumper-activated bike launch function, and garbage cans on fire! The Penguin ride features rear-wheel-operated rotating duck seats, The Penguin’s podium with Super-Jumper-activated-toppling function, penguin, handcuffs, 3 dynamite sticks and hidden sharks. There is also a clown robot with a firing cannon, 3 cannonballs and a dynamite stick. If that’s not enough, the set also includes a really good looking Batmobile with opening cockpit, two spring-loaded missiles, two rear stud-shooters, and giant batwings. The Batmobile is quite large at over 2” (7cm) high, 9” (24cm) long and 2” (7cm) wide. JAGNBRiCKS mentions he doesn’t like the round piece at the front that hides the stud-shooters, but I think it looks great. If you don’t like it, you can also take the pieces off and the stud-shooters will still work just fine. The minifigs in the LEGO Super Heroes Jokerland are excellent. Th

ere are eight minifigs in total: Batman, Robin, Beast Boy, Starfire, The Penguin, The Joker, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn. Several of the minifigures are unique to this set, while others are variations we haven’t seen before. Batman has legs with two color plastic that represent boots, and Robin has two color plastic on his arms for shirt-sleeves. Starfire and Beast Boy are completely new characters, with Starfire having some really nice metallic printing on her arms. Seven of the eight minifigs have alternate faces and they all come with front and back torso printing. As you can see, LEGO did an excellent job on all of them, which should make collectors very happy. All in all this set is a great combination of fun play-features, versatility, interesting elements, and a great selection of minifigures. DC Super Heroes fans probably get it right away, and as I mentioned it can also be interesting for LEGO City fans as a unique addition to their city layout. The price is on the high side, but it is not unreasonable based on the piece-count. Th

ere are so many exciting new LEGO sets in this price-range however that I think it will come down to which one do you like the best. The #76035 LEGO Super Heroes Jokerland is definitely a strong contender and there is really nothing negative I can say about it. The set is available under the LEGO DC Super Heroes section of the Online LEGO Shop. So what do you think? How do you like the LEGO Super Heroes Jokerland set? Are you planning to add it to your collection? And what do you think of the minifigures? Feel free to share your thoughts and discuss in the comment section below! 😉

Your technical support key is: 36b3-c7ac-1756-6707For our second LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Avengers: Age of Ultron set review of this wave, we have the Attack on Avengers Tower (76038).

The set has 515 pieces and retails for $59.99, around a $0.12/piece ratio. I purchased this set when it was available on Amazon a few days ago but the link has since been taken down. The box contains four numbered bags, two large instruction booklets, a sticker sheet, and a comic. First up is the Iron Man MK 43 suit. It is new for this year and if you read our review of the Iron Man vs. Ultron (76023) set, you’ll notice some small differences. He has the usual red and gold printing on front and back of the torso and on the front of the legs. The mask is the same mold as previous Iron Man minifigures but there are some black outline printing. The Tony Stark head piece is the same as previous versions. He also comes with a separate black hair piece. The accessories included are the trans-light blue studs and round bricks to resemble the suit thrusters. Iron Man MK 43 will be in two other Age of Ultron sets for this wave. Thor makes another appearance in the LEGO Super Heroes sets with an updated look.

The front and back of the torso armor printing is a little different than when we first saw him in the previous movie version with the legs being plain blue. The red cape that he wears is made of the new fabric that we’ve been seeing lately. The face printing is also new with him having a little smirk on one side and an angry face on the other. The yellow hair is the same as before. His accessory is, of course, the hammer Mjölnir. This version of Thor will also be in the Avengers Hydra Showdown (76030) set. Next up is the Ultron MK 1. Here you can see from the printing that it is made up of various parts from other Iron Man suits. It looks somewhat similar to the one seen in the official trailer when he comes walking out. Although the coloring is not the exact same, it does have some similarities such as the Avengers logo across the chest. Ultron also has a clear head with some printing of the damaged parts around it. The accessories included are some trans-dark blue studs and round bricks for the thrusters.

The Ultron MK 1 minifigure is exclusive to this particular set. Finally, you get two of the Iron Legion minifigures. They have a similar look to Iron Man but with different coloring. They are mainly white with some dark blue throughout the mask, torso, and legs. They also have the red Avengers logo on the chest and on one of the legs. The helmet is mostly dark blue with a gold finish for the mask. The head itself is a trans-orange piece and if you look closely, there is some printing on it. Similar to Ultron, they also have some thruster studs and round bricks but in trans-red. The two Iron Legion minifigures are also exclusive to set 76038. The Avengers Tower itself is quite large and there are three floors to it. The tower does open up with hinge pieces to reveal some more details on the inside. There are play features throughout each floor of the building. One thing you’ll notice is there are quite a few different tran-blue window panel pieces on the front and back of the building which gives it a really nice look overall.

The bottom floor of the Avengers Tower is some sort of laboratory for the Iron Legion minifigures. The front window panels can be rolled down and the floor can be pushed forward so the minifigures can slide out. Other details of the bottom floor include a fire extinguisher and a bed. The box shows Tony laying there for some reason. We’ll probably know why when the movie comes out in a few months. In the medical cabinet, there is a blue syringe piece. The next floor up, we have a place for the Ultron MK 1 assembly station. There’s a rotating base for Ultron to stand on while there are two hinged arms with lightsaber pieces that create the soon-to-be villain. The windows on this side can be pushed out using the switches on the side of the building to simulate Ultron breaking free. The other side of this floor is the room where Loki’s Chitauri Scepter is being analyzed and details of it are on a stickered computer screen. The only difference with the Scepter from the first movie sets is the trans-dark blue gem that’s been added in the middle.

On the top, we have the round balcony of the former Stark Tower. There isn’t much to see but we do get a sofa which opens up to reveal a gun underneath. There are also some glasses for some beverages. Underneath the balcony are a couple of stud shooters as well. On the other side of the tower, there’s a control panel with three keyboards and screens. The middle panels shows the “Ultron Project” while the other two have some graphs. On the outside windows, you have some stickers that create the Avengers insignia for both sides of the tower. One side has four while the other has five. For some, it may be a pain to put on as you have to get them aligned correctly or else the insignia will look crooked. Once you get them on, it does look pretty nice. As a tip, I found it a little easier to apply stickers #2 and #6 first to make it a little easier to align the rest of the stickers. Finally on the roof area, we get a place where you can pull down to reveal a hidden drone. The Starks Industries labeled drone has a play feature with the two stud shooters.
