Twin Peaks and NCIS: Los Angeles star Miguel Ferrer has died at age 61.The noted character actor and son of Hollywood legends José Ferrer and Rosemary Clooney passed away following a long battle with cancer today (January 19), reports Deadline.Ferrer was perhaps best known for playing the villain in numerous Hollywood movies, and for his memorable turn as gruff FBI pathologist Albert Rosenfield in Twin Peaks.In fact, Ferrer had recently reunited with his Twin Peaks co-stars and the show's creators Mark Frost and David Lynch to film 18 new episodes for Showtime - airing this May in the US and the UK.Frost paid tribute to his long-time friend on Twitter, writing: "A death in the family: just learned we lost Miguel Ferrer today. Join me pls in sending sympathy to his wife and family."We go back to 1974. Broke in on the same show. Great talent, better man. Working & writing for him a highlight in every part of my life. "But not lost to his family. Miguel made the world brighter and funnier and his passing is felt so deeply in our family that events of the day, (monumental events), pale in comparison. Throughout his long career in both TV and film, he memorably voiced the evil warrior Shan Yu in Disney's Mulan, played the US vice president in Iron Man 3 and RoboCop's quirky designer.
Until his death, Miguel also had a recurring role as Assistant Director Owen Granger in CBS's hit procedural NCIS: Los Angeles.Remembering his co-worker today, NCIS: Los Angeles showrunner R. Scott Gemmill said: "Today, NCIS: Los Angeles lost a beloved family member. Miguel was a man of tremendous talent who had a powerful dramatic presence on screen, a wicked sense of humour, and a huge heart. Now, someone on 4chan has posted details they claim describe many of these suits, and even included concept art for some of them. At this point we're assuming these are fake, but they still look very cool. Maybe they'll turn out to be more than really great fan art. One more warning — just reading these descriptions will give you a pretty complete summary of the movie, and there are a few specific plot details that will be spoiled as well (again, assuming this stuff is real). MARK XI - STEALTH ARMOR v.01 • A derivation of the MARK VI armor, TONY STARK configured it to have built-in stealth capabilities, which allow him to infiltrate the TEN RINGS' hideouts unnoticed.

Using the DESTROYER's blueprints stolen from S.H.I.E.L.D's HELICARRIER, STARK creates the ASGARDIAN DESTROYER ARMOR • A mecha version of the Destroyer seen in Thor. MARK XXXVI - HEAVY DUTY BRUTE ARMOR v.02 • Designed for heavy duty tasks that his standard armors cannot handle, TONY STARK creates the HEAVY DUTY BRUTE ARMOR with sheer strength in mind. Equipped with state of the art hydraulic systems powered by a modified ARC REACTOR, this armor enables IRON • A.K.A the Hulkbuster Armor.
