Here are the details from TMZ: A rep for the California Highway Patrol confirms ... U.S. border patrol agents initially made contact with the 27-year-old near a checkpoint on the 94 Freeway around 12:30 AM. We're told the agents suspected something was wrong -- and contacted the CHP to check things out. After CHP arrived to the scene, deputies were convinced Cabrera was under the influence of marijuana and arrested him for DUI. Officials tells TMZ Sports ...

Cabrera was hauled to a nearby station where officials drew blood. He was eventually cited and released to his mother-in-law. Last season, Cabrera was suspended 50 games by MLB after being linked to PEDs in the Biogenesis scandal. In 2012, Cabrera was arrested on domestic violence charges during spring training, but the charges were dropped.Cabrera, 27, has played 90 games this season, batting just .232. He's been on the disabled list since mid-August with a hamstring issue. This past Saturday, Mr. Brazier, a 39-year-old waste container cleaner, was getting ready for an upcoming fishing trip. Just when he was about to buy some more maggots for bait, he changed his mind and decided to head over to Betfred, a United Kingdom bookmaker. He wound up betting £2 ($3.35) on the Scoop6, a pool bet that challenges gamblers to, “select all 6 winners from 6 (horse) races.” As the Daily Mirror reports, it’s a good thing he didn’t decide to buy more maggots. After he placed his bet, Mr. Brazier went home to watch the races. The races quickly became far more interesting to watch for the married father of two.

He told the Daily Mirror that while his wife, Tracy, was asleep, he was wide awake and, “panicking after I got three out of three. After the fourth winner I went and told her but she said, ‘You aren’t lucky enough’ and dozed off.” As it turned out, Tracy’s husband was lucky enough. And as Chatez the racehorse won the sixth race, so did Mr. Brazier. His miniscule bet, almost spent on maggots, wound up scoring him a cool £1,342,599 ($2,244,557).According to the Nottingham Post, Mr. Brazier and his family will now look for a new home to live in and are planning on visiting Disney World. The new millionaire originally thought about buying a horse for himself, but after looking into the cost, he’s less keen on the idea. The Guardian notes that both Craig and Tracy plan on keeping their jobs, and that one daughter asked for new shoes, and the other a new desk.On Wednesday, Mr. Brazier got to meet Chatez, the horse that helped secure his jackpot. All in all, it’s been a stellar week – that could possibly be surpassed depending on what happens this weekend.

As the BBC notes, he has been entered into a pool for an upcoming bonus race that could win him another £5 million ($8,359,000).More info: Daily Mirror,Nottingham Post,The Guardian, BBCPopular in the CommunityHomeMailFlickrTumblrNewsSportsFinanceCelebrityAnswersGroupsMobileUPROXXJanuary 25, 2016Pokémon Red and Blue (#TeamBlue) were released in Japan 20 years ago. To celebrate, the Pokémon Company shelled out at least $5 million for a shiny commercial to air during Super Bowl Blue (Panthers) and Orange (Broncos). As is now customary, the ad has already been released online, and it’s bringing back strong, fuzzy feelings of staring at my Game Boy for hours at a time (fuzzy, because I lost my vision somewhere in Saffron City).According to a press release: The Pokémon Company International today unveiled a new TV commercial that will air during Super Bowl 50 on Sunday, Feb. 7. The ad, shot in Rio de Janeiro, explores ambition, drive, and training, concepts that every Pokémon Trainer is familiar with.

It celebrates the millions of Pokémon fans around the world who will enjoy identifying all of the hidden Pokémon references in the ad. It ends with a call to action for all those who strive to achieve their dreams: Train On. A 30-second version of the ad will be aired at the beginning of the third quarter of Super Bowl 50. February is a good month for Pokémon fans, because on the 27th, Red, Blue, and Yellow will become available for the Nintendo 3DS console. It’s time to re-learn the lyrics to the “Pokérap.” J/K, you never forgot them. What to Read NextHey, remember that awesome moment in Age of Ultron where Black Widow rides a motorcycle out of a freaking jet on her way to save everyone’s butt? Wow, that sure is sweet! Heck, if Disney made a toy based on this scene, I might actually forgive them the otherwise almost total lack of Black Widow merchandise! Remember the scene where Black Widow drops out of the jet on the motorcycle? — Zac Shipley (@zacshipley) May 8, 2015

With your Captain America figure racing away, somebody needs to stick around in the cockpit. Luckily, the Cycle Blast Quinjet holds up to 4 2.5-inch Avengers figures! Additional figures sold separately. Imagine your own battles as you put Black Widow, Hawkeye, Thor, or Iron Man behind the controls and follow Captain America into the fight! As disappointed as we were that Age of Ultron saw Disney continuing the time-honored trend of excluding female heroes from its Marvel merchandise, we weren’t surprised. But this… this is some troll-level shit. #WheresGamora and previous calls for Nebula and Black Widow merch have taught us that Disney doesn’t see the value in developing merchandise for female characters that aren’t princesses, but erasing arguably Nat’s biggest moment of self-sacrifice and heroism from the movie and replacing her with Cap is a whole other level of doing willful disservice to young Marvel fans. Kids of all genders deserve to be shown that girls are capable of saving themselves and that femininity isn’t toxic or inferior, and the few (and remarkably elusive) Black Widow figurines Disney currently offers simply aren’t sufficient.

And it’s not just feminist bloggers that think that either; Mark Ruffalo, Clark Gregg, and young fans have all asked #WheresNatasha. Can’t wait to see how you keep this shitty streak going come Captain Marvel time, Disney. Your sexism might need to get a little more creative. UPDATE: Apparently Cap isn’t the only Avenger stealing Black Widow’s thunder: — Steve Mazeika (@SMazeika83) May 11, 2015It definitely makes more sense to give a totally unnecessary motorcycle to Iron Man (a character whose primary mode of transportation is flying around in an exoskeleton, so no motorcycles for him, thank-you) than it does to make a toy that demonstrates a female character’s competency and agency. UPDATE May 11th, 5:10 EST: Not surprisingly, it looks like Cap is the one doing all the heroics in the LEGO version of the scene as well: @TheMarySue The lego set for that scene does the same thing. — NurseBrak (@NurseBrak) May 11, 2015 But hey, there’s also an adorable Black Widow minifig this time around!
