LEGO The Art of the Brick is now in Ireland in Dublin’s Ambassador  Theatre,  located on top of  Dublin’s iconic O’Connell Street, Dublin 1. The much anticipated exhibition will be here for a limited time only, and will feature over seventy art sculptures created from over a million LEGO® bricks. LEGO has made a major comeback this year, with The LEGO Movie  being one of the highest grossing original animated movies ever, and with a sequel already set to be released in 2017.  It is only fitting that the LEGO brick should be honoured and appreciated in Art form. A must see for all ages young and old, a perfect family day out to spend over the Easter holidays. Some of the sculptures will include a T-Rex skeleton, built with over 80,000 LEGO bricks and Leonardo’s Da Vinci Mona Lisa. The Art of the Brick has been proclaimed by CNN as one of the world’s 10 must-see exhibitions. The Exhibition has already attracted millions of visitors worldwide, including New York, Singapore, Shanghai and Melbourne.

It is now Dublin’s chance to enjoy the 3-dimensional sculptures and over sized portraits in person. Created by Nathan Sawaya a New York based artist, who creates large scale monuments out of the most unusual pieces such as LEGO blocks, and today has up to 2.5 million coloured bricks in both his New York and Los Angeles Studios.
