Il nous reste toutefois quelques irréductibles qui ne lâchent rien et qui tentent de faire survivre l'univers de Tolkien à la sauce LEGO. Parmi ces courageux aventuriers, on trouve Apg1808 qui s'est lancé cette année dans un calendrier de l'Avent thématique dévoilé quotidiennement sur sa galerie flickr. Je vais suivre la chose, histoire de me remémorer les plus belles heures de ces gammes trop rapidement disparues de l'offre LEGO. Si vous voulez faire de même, c'est à cette adresse que ça se passe.

Cette minifig livrée dans le coffret Blu-ray/DVD du troisème opus de la saga en compagnie de Bard The Bowman (Cette seconde minifig n'est pas exclusive : Il s'agit de la version distribuée durant le San Diego Comic Con 2014 et présente dans le set 79017 The Battle of Five Armies) était jusqu'ici disponible uniquement aux USA (Exclusivité de l'enseigne Target) et au Royaume-Uni (Exclusivité de l'enseigne Sainsbury's). Ce coffret sera disponible en France dès le mercredi 22 avril prochain au tarif de 25 € et c'est l'enseigne Carrefour qui en aura l'exclusivité. Regardez le 13ème épisode de l'émission Briquefan et vous en serez enfin convaincus... Blague à part, Antoine a (enfin) mis en ligne un nouvel épisode de l'émission Youtube préférée des fans de LEGO. Et si on fait évidemment très vite le tour de ce que LEGO a daigné nous proposer autour du second volet de la trilogie Lord of the Rings, la comparaison entre les évènements et les lieux du film et leurs équivalents en plastique ABS vaut son pesant de cacahuètes... Que tous ceux qui y croyaient encore retiennent la leçon : Mieux vaut tenir que courir et il faudra à l'avenir être très prudent avec les sous-entendus de Warner Bros et TT Games au sujet d'éventuels contenus proposé ultérieurement pour les futurs jeux sous licence LEGO.
L'absence de ce DLC destiné à compléter un jeu qui aura laissé de nombreux joueurs qui espéraient pouvoir rejouer la bataille finale de la trilogie sur leur faim est une mauvaise nouvelle même si le jeu propose en l'état de longues heures d'aventure et d'action. Why would it not be? This four-foot tall recreation of the elven village is one of the most ambitious designs ever submitted to Lego Ideas. The proposed Rivendell set is actually only part of this epic diorama. The surrounding landscape that made up a big chunk of the 120,000 total pieces in this MOC isn’t part of the package. Creator Ben Pitchford edited things a bit to make the set more retail-friendly. His creation is absolutely packed with detail. Ben included 10 of Rivendell’s key buildings, from the hall of feasting to the White Council Chamber to the quaint little gazebo. With 19 minifigs (including Bilbo, Gandalf, Thorin Oakenshield, Elrond, and Lady Galadriel) to complete the scene, there’s nothing lonely about this mountain. Even scaled back to “under 5,000 pieces,” this set might be a longshot. So far, Lego has elected to approve Ideas sets that are much, much smaller. Ecto 1 is just over 500 pieces, the DeLorean was around 400, and the Exo-Suit contained even fewer pieces.
