We have been to legoland windsor before and we thought we would try the hotel, we went for the very pricey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! new lego friends room and stayed in room 103 , the room was just like the pictures and amazing!!! The floor was amazing and all the statues everywhere, there was a purple bolted safe in the kids area ..The kids found a sheet with questions to unlock the safe and inside was a small lego set each, a mag and some small gifts, the bathroom was perfect....except! For two black public hairs on the back tiles! I let reception know on check out and the girl didn't know weather to laugh or be serious , it wasn't a biggie and didn't destroy our holiday , we paid extra for the buffet dinner which I wish I didn't! We went to dinner at 7.30pm it was quite busy still ...They had tones of random food..which I had no idea what is was as wasn't labeled , I opted for some gammon, potato's and veg ...the chef poured some new gravy in the pot so I fault lovely! However my meal tastes like nothing...nothing at all..

barley warm and no flavour! This was in the resturant bricks, we had breakfast the morning after ...looked good on the plate but again tasteless and barely warm, my 8 year old turned her nose up and said it was bland! Overall the hotel was amazing , brilliant staff, beautifully decorated and good entertainment , the kids loved it!!!!! And despite some curly dark pubes in the shower and terrible food we will defiantly be going back ..just not eating in house. I've left a picture of my partner and his dinner ..a plate of pickles! The only good thing to eat after he left his meal! 1,765 reviews sorted by: I visited this hotel for a 2 day business event and found the quality of the rooms, food and service to be very good. Clearly designed to attract families and excellent facilities for children, especially the rooms. If you want a good family day out I would recommend this hotel and resort however I believe it is quite expensive, but quality and service always comes at a price.

The only reason I did not give a 5 rating is because the pool was closed due to chlorine imbalance the day we were here and the restaurant is very average. Otherwise the hotel totally exceeded my expectations. Loads for kids to do and our pirate bedroom was perfect. The accomodation could not have been better, with a treasure code to crack and a box of Lego to play with. We had a great time. Room Tip: Pirate bedroom perfect if your kids are into it We stayed as a treat for our son's 12th birthday. He's Lego mad and absolutely loved it, as did our 9 year old daughter. When we got there we were able to park in the car park opposite the hotel (free) and complete the pre-check in at the desk. This was very quick. We were then given a card that allowed us to operate the doors and lift to get into the park. Once out the back of the hotel you get into the park through a gate. Our park tickets were checked and we were given a hotel guest stamp on our hands. We were then free to enjoy the park and popped back after 3pm to collect our room key.

Room:Clean and very well decorated. Children have a quiz to complete to gain entry to the safe where they will find a Lego treat. Tea/coffee and hot chocolate with 4 mugs (would've liked more hot chocolate as I wanted one too!). Our room had a connecting door to the next and there was some noise heard through that but it didn't go on too late and wasn't a big issue. No seat for non-swimmers. Both pools were cold.Bricks Family RestaurantDon't bother! Get in your car and find a nearby restaurant. The food was ok but it felt like a school canteen - way over priced! Breakfast was much better than the evening meal. Lots of choice and all looked fresh. Loved all the Lego models in the restaurant! We didn't watch any of the entertainment as our children were too old for it so I can't comment on that.Although the hotel is very expensive (probably due to the limited times they will actually be full) we felt it was worth while staying if your children are Lego mad like ours. It was a real indulgent treat!

I booked what I thought was a bargain 2 weeks ago. I paid £331 for a family of 5 which was 1 day and 1 day free to the park an overnight in a kingdom room. That included breakfast and I paid for an evening buffet at bricks restaurant. I had a courtesy call on Friday which was advised that the reason it was so cheap was because the park wasn't open today,so my one day free was wasted. I was disappointed that the website hasn't told me and the staff insisted I had a 'pop up' before paying which I did not. They said they had a tracking service which I insisted they traced to see when this pop up was but conveniently it only works within 7 days of booking. Decided to go ahead anyway an use the hotel devices for the free day instead, only to then arrive after a 3 hour drive from South Wales to be told the pool will also be shut all day today. The theme park itself was brilliant an no queuing times at all but the staff at the hotel are quite rude. I'll go to legoland again happily but I'll stay in a travelodge for a quarter of the price.

Legoland hotel room was great, absolutely brilliant with a free gift and of course on site for your stay and that was about it..... Food- luke warm/cold buffet.Value for money?- No-in fact NO! Disgusting prices for what you get.You are better off staying nearby with decent food at around half the price of this place.Summary-Great rooms, average swimming pool, very poor food, expensive prices. Pre check in was smooth, straight to the park and left bags with reception, after a day of fun we returned to our rooms to find out luggage had been take up for us, pirate theme was really good, rooms clean and tidy, spacious and with all the amenities you need. All staff were pleasant in the hotel and park. Dinner at bricks was good quality, fast service, used the pool which was very cold but the kiddies didn't care and loved every second, the evening entertainment was unexpected and well received by the children, good entertainers and an easy way to wear the kids out before bed with an hour of dancing!
