Free Play is a certain type of Gameplay. Unlike Story Mode, you can choose any character that you have unlocked. Free Play allows you to do the things you couldn't do in Story Mode. Basically, you can use different characters to finish the game. You can only play Free Play once you have completed the level in Story Mode. In Free Play, you can find extended gameplay, such as puzzles, new areas, etc. because of more available Abilities due to different available characters. You will also on be able to find certain Minikits unreachable in Story Mode. Originally, in Lego Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and other Lego Games, the game would give you a few characters to choose from, and it would give a character for each ability (Midget, Digging, etc.), but in Lego Pirates of the Caribbean, you can choose any unlocked character. It is a shame to think what a real construction system could bring. From a visual and sound standpoint, Lego Minifigures Online is perfect. The game features an impressive graphics engine and modern Lego aesthetic that turns it delicious. The scenery of the game is only comprised of bricks, which make up varied environments. The whole set is a real pleasure to see and the dubbing is simply excellent. Punctuated by jokes that have become their trademark, the voices of the characters will delight all audiences and will get you smiling more than once! Lego Minifigures Online is an excellent game. Although the lack of real freedom of construction is very frustrating, the game system works very well and knows how to adapt itself, particularly to younger audiences. With a free model and few limitations, a game system that is simple to understand - but interesting to control - many characters to collect and, above all, a good atmosphere and scenery, Lego Minifigures Online starts up as mandatory.
