Legoland Florida follows Legoland California in Carlsbad, which is inspired by other Legoland parks around the world; the park is divided into lands based on adventure, exploration, imagination and the magic ingredient, Legos. Most Legolanders agrees that Miniland is at the heart of any Lego park, and Florida’s will feature landmarks from the sunshine state.
While Winter Haven isn’t a particularly convenient location for visitors, Legoland chose the Cypress Gardens location in large part because the infrastructure was already in place: shops, restaurants, rides and bathrooms are already in place. In addition, Legoland Florida will reuse some of Cypress Gardens’ attractions, including three existing roller coasters.
