Here's how it works: Anybody can ask a question The best answers are voted up and rise to the top I'd like to get the UCS Death Star, but it's too expensive :( I got the build manual, and I see what bricks I need. I am thinking of buying them separately via Bricklink. Has anyone tried doing that? There is a whole site dedicated to working out how you can build a particular model using parts from other sets - Rebrickable. A combination of that and Bricklink would be cheaper as you'd end up with fewer extra parts. There's also a thread on EuroBricks where someone has done what you're doing and there are some useful tips (mostly about buying as much as you can from a small number of sellers to avoid huge postage costs). Brickset's "links" tab is handy for more information on the set. Death Star Canteen in Queen Street is the brainchild of Tanya and Glenn Morris - the former owner of Glenn's coffee cart in the CBD.."We'd just watched the Eddie Izzard Darth Vader canteen sketch and it had cracked us up. I thought, that's what I want to do – the Death Star Canteen. I want bring a bit of joy and inappropriateness to the CBD because it can be a bit bland and depressing," Glenn Morris says. While the cafe is Star Wars-themed, it's done with a playful touch rather than bombarding diners, says Tanya Morris."We don't want to be in your face about it. The idea is for people to be surprised, to look around and see the little touches and Star Wars references. We had an artist come in to do mural on one wall and of course we have a Lego Death Star Canteen homage."Breakfasts include bircher muesli, sourdough toast with spreads or the ubiquitous smashed avocado, mushroom scrambled eggs and smoky beans on sourdough.

No mention of a Flan Solo but we live in hope. And yes, like the sketch, there is penne arrabbiata on the menu, along with a selection of focaccia, including a vegetarian and a vegan offering, as well as soups and salads. There are also storm trooper and Darth Vader cookies.Consulting on the menu with Tanya Morris (a naturopath and nutritionist) was Brenda Fawdon, former owner of Mondo Organics (Obi-Wan Quinoabi on the cards perhaps?). Local and ethically sourced produce is a priority, Morris says, with Glenn's brother supplying the meat, and local bakers Banneton making the focaccia, while condiments are made in house.A liquor license is coming with wine to be poured by the glass and half glass. A beer list is also being put together so fingers crossed for bottles of Lambic Calrissian or an Empire Strikes Bock. Meanwhile, Glenn's blend of organic, Fairtrade coffee roasted locally in the West End is on pour. May the forks be with you.Try going back to the homepage AT-TE - Mini 4495

The council’s 2016-2020 strategy plan, adopted in June last year, committed it to working with partners to roll out a 10Gbps fibre network to premises in the city and North Adelaide.

“This network is transformational 21st century infrastructure, allowing users to connect to global optical fibre networks – facilitating increased growth in an ever more digitally-based economy,” an EOI document released by the council states. “It will be the fastest, most reliable large data transfer infrastructure in Australia, giving users access to data at phenomenal speeds, using global interconnects and cloud service providers. “It will put Adelaide firmly on the map as a destination of choice for data-reliant businesses, universities, and government agencies – supporting significant investment and jobs growth.” The council expects multiple organisations to be involved in rolling out and operating the network. The network is expected to complement the National Broadband Network and the state government’s Gig City program. The South Australian government in June said it would pony up $4.65 million to help extend the existing SABRENet research network as part of its Gig City plan.

“The Ten Gigabit City Project and Gig City Adelaide Program are separate and complementary initiatives,” the EOI document states. A report prepared by de Brenni Executive Consulting Services for the council says the existing council-owned duct, pit and cable network “is a valuable asset which may be leveraged to build a multi Gigabits per second optical fibre network as envisaged”. “The network structure could be considered as a star of links back to a central point, nominally the Pirie Street Council buildings,” the report states. “The links provide quite a good extent of coverage towards the ‘edges’ of the Council area. This configuration lends itself well to expansion and diversity. Existing links can be extended and new links provided. Connections between the star links provide coverage to new areas and also provide diversity path options, which is desirable for critical applications.” The City of Adelaide is accepting expressions of interest via Tenders SA until 7 February.
