This Adventure World may be accessed at any time with the Starter Park. The DC Comics Adventure World features: While there is much to do with just the Starter Pack, some areas and activities in the world are only accessible with certain Minifigures, or minifigures with certain Abilities. This is a guide to everything that can be done in the DC Comics World with only the Starter Pack characters and vehicle. The DC Captions Red Brick can be unlocked in this world.
Look for the hovering droid with a blue force field around him, and catch him before the timer runs out. Quests in the Adventure Worlds are given by NPCs throughout the worlds. Completing a quest earns a Gold Brick. After renovating the Bat Signal (see "Renovations") find Commissioner Gordon standing outside against a building in the Gotham Cathedral area. Stand on the white circle and speak with him. Look for the red circles on the map and investigate those areas. Bust up objects to find the stolen items. The gold bar is in a chest inside a the building where the quest starts. Look for the blue door and go in, then look for the chest to the right. The stack of bills are in a dumpster that Gandalf uses his magic to levitate and dump out. Go to the building at the end of the "U" of buildings in the Gotham Cathedral area, and (still outdoors) take a right into a small area. The money bag is being protected by a gang of goons outside Wayne Tower. Once all three items are recovered return to Commissioner Gordon to collect a gold brick.
Find Flash outside in the Gotham Cathedral area and stand on the white circle and speak with him. Follow him around the world, through a number of encounters with goons. Beat up the goons to move to the next location. Find Lois Lane and her cameraman in front of the Daily Planet and stand on the white circle to launch this quest. Follow Lois Lane around the city, through a number of encounters with goons. Beat up the goons so Lois can move on to the next location. There is a vehicle challenge on the approach to Arkham Asylum. Drive a Vehicle (such as the Batmobile under the purple arch to begin. The goal is to drive through a series of holographic gates within the overall time limit. There is also a time limit for traveling between gates. If the counter expires before completing the next gate, the challenge will end and must be restarted. Bronze, Silver, or Gold medals are earned based on completion time: Renovations change or improve the Adventure World, and in some cases make new collectibles and/or activities available.
Renovations are indicated on the navigation map with a blue circle with a wrench and hammer inside. Renovations are initiated by speaking with an NPC and choosing to buy the renovation with LEGO studs. The Arctic World renovation is initiated by speaking with a man at the base of the giant statues across from Wayne Tower & LexCorp tower. The renovation costs 90,000 studs and opens up new challenges. Speak to commissioner Gordon on top of a building in the Gotham Cathedral area, across from the cathedral. Speak to the character with the afro and white outfit in front of Wayne Manor to renovate the manor and throw a party. This world's jukebox is found in Arkham Asylum. Speak to a goon in a corner in the area around the maze puzzle. The Penguin Hideout renovation is found in the water behind LexCorp tower, just to the right if facing the shore. Speak to a penguin on a little island to initiate it. Right near the entry area to the world, look for a statue base and a guy in a green shirt and speak to him.
This is a guide to the areas and unlockables in the world that are only accessible with Minifigures, Vehicles, and Items that must be purchased separately from the Starter Pack. Cracked LEGO walls may only be destroyed by a character or item with the Cracked LEGO Ability. There is a cracked LEGO wall on the side of a building in the ACE Chemicals area. There is a cube switch on top of a building in the Gotham Cathedral area. Look for a wall jump area that requires Wyldstyle to jump up. Then place the Companion Cube on the switch. Drill spots may only be accessed by a character or item with the Drill Ability. In a corner just above the maze puzzle. Stand underneath Wayne Tower and look overhead at what appears to be a gold LEGO object, which requires a character or item with Laser Ability to destroy. Inside a building in the ACE Chemicals area there is a green LEGO wall, which requires a character with X-Ray ability to use. The entrance to the door is blocked with Toxic Waste which can be cleared with a character with Hazard Cleaner ability There is a Gyrosphere switch in the Gotham Cathedral area that requires the Gyrosphere to activate.
There is a jet switch in the ACE chemicals area, which requires a vehicle with Flight Dock Ability to activate it. LEGO ice requires a character with Laser Ability to melt it. After Arctic World has been renovated (See "Renovations") there is an ice covered ladder leading up to the area on top of the giant statues where there are more items covered in ice waiting to be melted. Wyldstyle can bypass the ice covered area of the ladder and reach the upper area, but melting the ice up top will require a character with Laser Ability. After the Penguin Hideout has been renovated (See "Renovations") there are LEGO ice objects to be melted. Silver LEGO objects may only be destroyed by a character or item with the Silver LEGO Blowup Ability. Small hatches may only be accessed by characters with the Mini Access Ability. There is a small hatch on the corner of a building in the LexCorp Tower area, outside, on the ground level. Look for the white circle on the ground. In the LexCorp Tower area, there is a building whose door is blocked by large spikes.
