There's also a backlight, so the time can be seen when it's dark. You can set the clock to am/pm or 24hr. It comes with batteries, and works well.I was in two minds as to whether to buy this or the Batman Lego torch (see Lego Lights DC Super Heroes Batman LED Torch and NiteLite) as they both look good.
