SPOILERS in the above video and article, obviously. Go see the movie already! People have really been enjoying the presence (one they haven't felt in a long time) of Darth Vader in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Just yesterday we posted a video turning his incredible show-stopper scene from the film into a 16-bit video game, and today we see the same scene recreated in stop-motion with LEGOs. NEXT: How Darth Vader Became a Badass Villain Again The latest take on Darth Vader's lightsaber and Force-filled rampage that makes up the bulk of the final scene of the movie animates it in LEGO (using some crude effects to flesh it out). The video, from "Lego Man," uses bootleg audio from the film itself, matching up directly with the fan-made shots. The video is a beat-by-beat recreation of the scene, so it's about as spoilery as it can be, from the reflected blaster bolts to a Force choke/throw, to the stab through the door. Like the 16-Bit version, the scene ends with Vader watching the Tantive IV fly away, and does not include the scene between Captain Antilles and Princess Leia that closes the actual film.

Lego Man has also LEGO-ized the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story trailer and done his own takes on two other Rogue One inspired videos. Directed by Gareth Edwards, it's the first of the new standalone features from Lucasfilm and Disney, which take place outside the core "Skywalker Saga" of films noted by an Episode number. Rogue One tells the story of the small band of rebels that were tasked with stealing the plans to the first Death Star. The story spins directly off the opening crawl from the original Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope.

In that crawl, it read: "Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire. During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire’s ultimate weapon, the DEATH STAR, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet." Star Wars and LEGO of course. Spotted by Entertainment Weekly, YouTuber Lego Man has recreated the ending sequence of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story with, if his name is any indication, his favorite toy.

Watching a group of Rebels give their lives and do everything in their power to get the Death Star plans to Princess Leia has never been so adorable. Even in LEGO form, Darth Vader tearing through everyone with his one-handed lightsaber moves is still awesome to watch. (Remember how the marketing for Episode III teased we would get to see that, and all we got was “NOOOOOOOO!!”?) Here’s hoping that one of the future spin-off films is about Vader, allowing us to watch him actually become the most feared force (no pun intended) in the universe. Regardless if they are Legos, action figures, or intricate models, any stop motion creations take a lot of time and effort, and this video shows that Lego Man cares about the craft. And this is not the only Star Wars recreation Lego Man has done. You can check out more of his videos on his YouTube channel here. So what do you think? Does LEGO make EVERYTHING better, or are some things better left in their original format? What are your favorite “LEGO-ized” movie scenes?

Mine is a bit smaller about 26 cm. But for me he has it complicated so I thought about making it on my own and IT WORKED.but there are some problems : I wasn't sure if it will look nice so I do not have almost any pictures of making it so I will try to explain it. Another problem is I wanted to make shiny helmet and it is so shiny that my camera doesn't take it but in real it looks super cool.Step 1: Step 1 : Materials, Tools...« PreviousNext »View All Steps Download Star Wars Darth Vader Electronic Lightsaber Movie-like appearanceCreate adventures and scenes from the Star Wars UniverseSimulates classic lights and soundsCompatibility: Customizable with other Blade Builders (Each sold separately)Contents: A Disney Star Wars Darth Vader Electronic Lightsaber, a connector and instructionsBatteries Required: 3 AA batteries (not included)
