Darth Revan is an exclusive minifigure, that was available online or at a LEGO store from May 3-5, 2014. He was the 2014 May the 4th Be With You (Star Wars Day) promotional minifigure. Once a powerful Sith lord, Revan was stripped of power and memory. Revan later became a Jedi, relearning the ways of the force. When Revan learned of his past as a Sith, he deemed both Jedi and Sith to be narrow-minded. While Jedi and Sith practiced only the light side or the dark side respectively, Revan dedicated himself to all aspects of the force. He later attempted to end the reign of the Sith Emperor, but was betrayed by his ally, Lord Scourge, and was locked in stasis for the next 300 years. 300 years later, an organization on the Imperial planet of Dromund Kaas, called the Revanites, studied Revan's unique views of the force. The Dark Council saw this as an act of treason, and the Revanites were forced into hiding deep in the jungle. Not long after the Revanites on Dromund Kaas were dealt with, heroes of the Republic rescued Revan from stasis, and he went on to discover the Foundry and attempted to use it to annihilate the Sith Empire, but was killed by an Imperial strike team.

When he was killed, his light-sided half was ready to become one with the Force, but his dark-sided half refused, and continued on to become the leader of the Revanites, and attempted to use them to destroy both the Empire and the Republic, but was stopped by a coalition of both forces brought together by his descendant, Theron Shan, the Sith Lord Lana Beniko, and a heroic individual who would later be known as the Outlander. When he was defeated, his two halves merged and he finally became one with the Force.Ithorian Jedi Master | Jedi Knight (Episode II) | Jedi Knight (The Old Republic) | Galactic Republic Part 1: 212th Clone Trooper | 212th Clone Paratrooper | 501st Clone Pilot | 501st Legion Clone Trooper | Bomb Squad Trooper | Clone Aerial Trooper | Clone Jetpack Trooper | Clone Recon Trooper | Clone Scout Trooper | Clone Trooper Captain | Clone Trooper Commander | Clone Trooper WolfpackCommander Cody | Galactic Republic Part 2: Geonosis Clone TrooperJace Malcom |

This coincides with the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story product launch, and the wide release of 75159 Death Star. The Brick Fan reports that the promotion will be taking place in LEGO Stores and at the LEGO online shop. Additional promotional activity includes double VIP points on LEGO Star Wars orders and entry into a sweepstakes to win the super rare Escape the Space Slug set with orders of 75159 Death Star. This seems to be a way for LEGO stores to use up existing stock, as the Darth Revan minifigure was previously part of a ‘May the Fourth’ promotion and Escape the Space Slug was made available to select LUG members. Stay locked on to Brick Fanatics for further news on whether this will be a worldwide promotion. UPDATED: This promotion is for US customers only, LEGO customer service has confirmed that UK fans will receive five (yes, five) free First Order Stormtrooper minifigures with purchases of £60. If this is online or in-store only has not been clarified. If you missed out on the LEGO Star Wars Darth Revan (5002123) minifigure back in 2014 or the then LUG member only Escape the Space Slug set earlier this year, there are some promotions that LEGO will be running for you to be able to get them, at least for guaranteed one of them.

First is the Darth Revan minifigure that will be given away with any LEGO Star Wars purchase at LEGO Stores and on [email protected] on September 30, 2016, while supplies last. Doesn’t look like there’s any other stipulations on it so that’s good. Plus, Force Friday 2016 for the Star Wars: Rogue One sets will be available so it’s pretty easy to get Darth Revan if you plan on purchasing something. Be sure you make your purchases then since this promo is only valid for that day. For the Escape the Space Slug set, you have to be a LEGO VIP member and purchase the UCS Death Star (75159) during the VIP early access timeframe which is September 15-30, 2016. After you do that, you’ll be automatically be entered to win one of the limited edition sets. There’s a limit of one Death Star purchase with a particular VIP number so you can’t have multiple entries. Update: I’ve been notified that over on the sweepstakes page, you can also enter without making a purchase.
