“Stunts are easy…it’s all the other stuff that takes nerves of steel!” No matter the stunt, no matter the danger, the dashing Daredevil risks it all for each and every spectacular show. Flaming hoops, long-distance canyon jumps and giant stomp-powered launchers are a breeze for this fearless fellow, who always keeps his cool in even the most perilous situations. It’s the normal, everyday situations that give him pause. Driving a motorcycle at full speed up a ramp and over a dozen garbage trucks is no problem – but buying stamps at the post office? He’ll waterski blindfolded through a school of snapping cyber-sharks, but don’t ask him to find the beans at the grocery store, or he’ll run away screaming. It looks like the daring Daredevil has definitely picked the right line of work!Earlier this week, a wave of new toys and other products featuring Tom Holland's portrayal of Spider-Man was revealed. Among the Spidey blitz was a new LEGO set based on the events of Captain America: Civil War and with the set came a connection to the Netflix side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

We may never actually see official Daredevil, Jessica Jones, or Luke Cage LEGO figures because the shows are tailored for more mature audiences than LEGO's target consumer, but a part of Daredevil's second season is featured in the new set regardless. With the set, which includes The Vision, Captain America, Hawkeye, and Spider-Man minifigures, is a tanker truck - but it's not just any tanker truck. The truck is dons a Roxxon logo. The Roxxon oil corporation played a significant role in Daredevil's second season as Elektra alerted Matt of the company's foul play in its Japanese branch. Daredevil's second season is not the only place Roxxon has been mentioned but is certainly the most prominent. The oil company has also been mentioned on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and was referenced in Iron Man 3 when it was responsible for a terrible oil spill. While we may have to wait until Infinty War, or possibly forever, to see Daredevil himself fight alongside Spider-Man and the other Avengers, the connection is still fun to point out and another reason why we love the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Captain America: Civil War is now playing in theaters and Daredevil's second season is currently available on Netflix.LEGO Marvel's Avengers / LEGO Marvel's Avengers is drawing on the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a big way, adapting the two Avengers movies plus segments from Captain America: First Avenger, Winter Soldier, and Thor: The Dark World. Even though Netflix's Marvel shows are considered part of the MCU, due to the mature tone of those shows the game will understandably revert to the classic comic book designs for Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage. Assistant game director Stephen Sharples explained, "It’s just a step too far for us to take that man in the black mask, Daredevil, who’s hanging people off buildings and things like that. It’s just a step too far for a LEGO game. "So yeah, it is a case of when something like that happens we always do go back to the origin, the comic book origin, because ultimately the comic books are where all these guys come from.

With Jessica Jones, it’s a similar one: she’s come out of nowhere to be really popular now, but Jessica Jones in LEGO Marvel's Avengers will be her superhero alter-ego Jewel – she’s named Jessica Jones but her costume will be the purple-haired superheroine who’s kind of a failed hero… which leads to her getting involved with a certain guy played by David Tennant. "With things like Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and even Luke Cage, who I know pops up in that show, he pops up in the game too but takes the form – he’s actually got a LEGO minifig; it’s his Powerman design. So if yeah, if something like that comes round, it’s just too violent then we always revert to the classic comic book version." LEGO Marvel's Avengers is due out on January 26th in the US and January 28th, 2016. Daniel is IGN's Games Editor over in London. He writes about movies, too.
