Thanks for the plans! Me and my son brought back to life my 34 year old LL928. Some parts missing, but they'll turn up. I was given this set for Christmas when I was 9 years old... Now my dad brought along all my old Legos for our four year old son. The half assembled spaceship sat on top of the pile, and I just had to rebuild it to original spec! I remember rebuilding it when I was 15 or 16, then modifying and dismantling partially again, so it sat around since then unchanged. Only very few parts were missing and I could substitute others from the big pile of Legos. Now the spaceship and moon base are sitting proudly on the shelf in my office, after 37 years complete again. Haven't seen it in years, but at 46, I built it with my 4 1/2 y.o. son last night (thanks to these instructions), and had 99% of the pieces. I always dreamed this Set I have seen the first time in another Lego set in the little LL918 manual instruction I had. Then I didn't find this set in 1979. I meet this set years later to my friend's home (they were two twin male); then I assembled an just played for 1 hour, the next day I have been there to play again but they had disassembled all. I just said ohh did you disassemble all and their nice mother heard me and start to look at me in a strange bad way.So when I was 40 years old I bought two of them. How many stars do I vote here? It's better to say 6/5 maybe 11/5 It was very complete set with a base moon and many special pieces for that time, a little vehicle came out from the beautiful space ship. It sounds like 3 sets in one. I always thought that rebuild those 79's 80's sets or a modern version of them in line with that traditional sets like moonrails as well could be a very nice thing for many people, that didn't stop to love those sets.Ken rates this set 5 of 5 stars.
