You start the ride with a nice slow climb outside the mountain and when you enter the darkness inside the mountain, the ride makes a small drop before the quick rise to the top. Then the ride takes you downwards both inside and outside the mountain. After the ride you exit the area and you have the possibility to buy an attraction photo. I have always enjoyed the magic of theme parks and loved the different rides. Now I have combined this pleasure with my passion of LEGO construction in a project. I have used microscale to reduce the number of bricks needed, and to have a greater challenge in the designing process. It is fun to build different rides with just a small amount of bricks. The rollercoaster has been a challenge because of the track, you have to have smooth bends which isn't easy to achieve in the world of LEGO.
All the sets are constructed on 16x16 base plates which you can snap together to create a large Theme Park. The base plates can easily be parted again and reshuffled to create a new park. Up until now I have built Bumper Cars, Race Cars, an Octopus ride, a Merry-Go-Round, a Viking Ship, and a Roller Coaster. Now I will start working on a Flying Carpet ride. All the designs will be posted here on the community. I have added a picture with six Theme Park units put together, so you can see an example of a Theme Park. Some of the units in the picture haven't been posted here yet. They will be posted later when I am satisfied with them. Slip into the front seat to switch on the light brick and off you go – wheeeeeeeeeeee! Then take a gentle ride on the Ferris wheel or head to the drop tower, pull down your safety bar and go spinning down to the ground. Afterwards there are photos to buy and food to share with friends. You won't want your day at the Amusement Park to end! Includes 4 mini-dolls: Emma, Andrea, Matthew and Naya in summer outfits. Features a roller coaster, Ferris wheel, drop tower, entrance booth and a dining area. The push-along roller coaster features 4 carriages (each sitting a mini-doll), functioning light brick, entrance area with opening safety barrier, control panel with levers, camera and a long track with various obstacles along the ride. Grab a delicious box of popcorn, hot dogor slice of watermelon from the dining area. This set offers an age-appropriate building experience for ages 8-12.
