Google representatives have repeatedly said that the content hidden from users under the tabs and links gets less important and can be ignored by the ranking algorithms. According to Gary Illyes, after the mobile-first index is launched, the current situation should change. During the discussion regarding the upcoming launch into the Twitter Illyes was asked the following question: "The "bellows" on the desktop content and similar elements on the page are ignored or are not indexed. Is it processed the same way on mobile devices? Ilyes replied: "No, the mobile-first world content is hidden from users and must have the full weight." It is still a secret whether it will influence the desktop content or not. Facebook is currently testing a new service that allows page owners to post vacancies and other users to apply for them. This information was reported by TechCrunch. Vacant posts will be created at «Jobs» tab. The companies will be able to specify the job title, salary and working conditions.

By means of a special feature it will highlight vacancies among other publications in the news feed and attract the attention of users. All ads will be visible in the Jobs section. Applicants will be able to respond to the announcements using «Apply Now» button. The CV will be generated automatically from the data of user’s profiles. Thus, they will be able to quickly offer its candidature for several jobs without wasting time posting general information. The companies will receive a feedback through private messages. They will also be able to pay for the posts to attact more people. Once this feature is launched, Facebook will become a direct competitor to the LinkedIn social network. We should remind you that Microsoft reported of buyng Linkedin in June. The deal should be done by the end of this year, and its total amount will reach $ 26.2 billion. This is attested by the RankRanger information. On November, 2 it was reported that Sitelinks ranked 32% of all search results, and on November, 5 it dropped down to 8.1%.

Today, Novemberm 8, it went a little up again and was ranked at 8.5%. According to Barry Schwartz, the editor from Search Engine Roundtable, this innovation affected mainly small references that were previously placed in a row under the snippet. Massive navigation links remain without changes applied. It should be recalled that Google has disabled the URL downgrade rating feature used as a reference site. Previously, it could help Search Console users to remove improper or incorrect links from the search results. It no longer has this kind of option. Email marketing was rated effective by more agency marketers than any other channel with 79% of agencies stating that email provides excellent or good ROI, according to an Econsultancy study in February 2015.  The open rate for e-mails with a personalized message was 17.6%, as compared to 11.4% without any personalization.  Within the overall Facebook family there are 900 million WhatsApp users, 700 million Facebook Messenger users, and over 400 million Instagram users as of Q3 2015.

TOKYO, Jan. 11 (UPI) -- Japan's coast guard rescued passengers on a flooded North Korean cargo ship, according to a local television network. NHK reported Thursday, local time, a Japanese patrol boat rescued the passengers stranded on the ship in the Sea of Japan. The 6,555-ton cargo ship sent a distress signal on Wednesday evening from a location about 37 miles southwest of Fukue Island, the southernmost of the Goto Islands in Nagasaki Prefecture. All 26 passengers were taken on lifeboats by dawn on Thursday. No casualties were reported, according to NHK. Japan's coast guard said the vessel was carrying rice while sailing from Nampo on North Korea's western coast to Wonsan on the eastern side of the peninsula. The cause of the ship's sinking is unknown, local authorities said. The ship has stayed anchored about 6 miles from Fukue Island. The hull of the ship is leaning to one side but there is no immediate danger of further sinking, according to the report.

North Korea is currently under heavy sanctions, and North Korea cargo ships are completely banned from docking at Japanese ports. Pyongyang wants the sanctions lifted, but it has also refused to give up pursuing the development of nuclear weapons. Kim Jong Un recently raised the stakes in his New Year's speech while touting a readiness to launch an intercontinental ballistic missile at an arbitrary time and place. The provocations have prompted the United States to mobilize sophisticated radar, to monitor any incoming North Korea missiles, CNN reported Wednesday. The sea-based X-band radar can detect long-range launches and collects intelligence, according to the report. The technology is based in Hawaii and can only be deployed at sea for a limited amount of time. Defense Secretary Ash Carter had said on Tuesday a missile would be intercepted only if it is "threatening." "It may be more to our advantage to, first of all, save our interceptor inventory, and, second, to gather intelligence from the flight rather than do [shoot it down] when it's not threatening," Carter has said.
