Chase meets a goofy cop named Frank Honey just outside the police station. Approach Frank after you enter the building—he’s highlighted by a green objective marker. While trying to fix the station’s main “compuper,” Frank accidentally blows it up. Stand near the remains of the computer and hold A to build the bouncing LEGO bricks, repairing the damage. Build all three piles of LEGO bricks to fully repair the computer. After repairing the main computer, follow Frank to the nearby elevator on the right. Police Chief Dunby steps out of the elevator as you approach, and he’s in an awful mood. He doesn’t seem to like Chase very much, but Mayor Gleeson has insisted that Chase lead the Rex Fury case, so the chief’s hands are tied. Objective: Explore the basement After your awkward chat with Chief Dunby, Frank gives you the grand tour of the station’s basement. Follow him downstairs, then smash three gray boxes to discover more LEGO bricks. Hold A to build these into a locker, then open the locker to discover the Chase McCain (Police Officer) disguise!

Now that you’ve found a new disguise, you can change your appearance at any time by holding X to open the Disguise Wheel and selecting the outfit you wish to wear. Do this now and change into the Chase McCain (Police Officer) outfit. Quickly change disguises by pressing LEFT or RIGHT to cycle through them. Follow Frank back upstairs. He stops near a police shield icon. Stand on this icon. Now that you’ve changed into your police officer disguise, press A to gain access to the requisitions desk. Step up to the desk 1to speak with Ellie Phillips, who hands you a newfangled police communicator. Objective: Activate the police communicator Take the elevator back up to the station’s lobby and approach the main computer. Stand before the computer and press A to sync up your communicator. Now your Wii U GamePad will show you a handy map of your surroundings! Objective: Wake the chief Police Chief Dunby has fallen asleep at his desk, and it’s up to Chase to wake him.

Follow Frank upstairs and, when prompted, answer an incoming call on your GamePad by touching the flashing video call icon. The caller is Ellie from requisitions, and she tells you how to use the communicator to search for clues! Go left to discover Chief Dunby’s office. The door is locked, and you need to find a key to get inside. Stand on the nearby glowing scan spot, then press A to put your communicator into Detective Scan mode. Shine the communicator’s blue light on the ground to discover a hidden trail of footprints! The footprints lead to a small cupboard on the right. Press A to open the cupboard and find the key to the chief’s office. You must follow the footprints all the way to the cupboard to discover the key. Press A to pick up the key, then carry it over to the left. Press A to insert it into the lock near the chief’s door, then press A again to turn the key and open the door. Now you just need to wake the chief! Smash the file cabinet near the window to uncover some LEGO bricks, then build these into a stereo.
