In Ben 10 Alien Force, transforming into the immensely strong, nearly impervious Swampfire gives Ben the ability to shoot fire from his hands and regenerate severed limbs. to see all 8 reviews Toys & Games > Baby & Toddler Toys Toys & Games > Building Toys > Building Sets > Loose BricksReviewed by Claire and Charlie Paye (age 5) The newly launched LEGO Juniors range is almost perfect for Charlie – age 5 and more inclined to investigate how LEGO comes apart rather than put it together.  Simpler, with slightly larger pieces than the original LEGO, more interesting than Duplo, LEGO Juniors is tailor-made for Charlie’s age range – they state 4-7. The kit came in a giant LEGO brick which will fit many more pieces – handy as our LEGO always seems to multiply until we’re left with lots of random pieces.

Assembling the two cars was the first time Charlie had managed LEGO sets on his own. Charlie found the instructions are clear and simple to follow (you don’t fully appreciate the quality of LEGO instructions until you try cheaper versions).  Being a boy, Charlie loved making racing cars.  The pieces were in self-contained bags and, for the more impatient consumer, a basic version of the cars can be assembled within a 4 year old’s attention span. The only drawback is a symptom of the kit’s success.  It is marketed as ‘Build & Rebuild’.  However, Charlie was so proud of what he had achieved that the idea of disassembling it so soon was anathema to him.  This is ironic given how keen he has always been to test the durability of the LEGO City items which other family members have put together.  Now that he knows how to fix a car with a detached bumper, having made it himself, he is treating the cars with much more respect. As a result, he hasn’t made the second version of the cars with the kit supplied.

This problem would be solved with 4 chassis instead of 2.  However, over time he may be able to bring himself to take the cars apart.  For now, he is showing unusual restraint and the cars are still in one piece. I’m delighted that LEGO Juniors has been launched.  It definitely bridges the gap between Duplo and LEGO and we’ll be looking out for more sets for forthcoming birthdays/Christmas. LEGO Juniors are available to buy in most good toy shops and on Amazon. Before you can vote for cool new LEGO sets, or submit your own you'll need to sign in with or register for a LEGO ID: You're currently signed in to LEGO ID as . Official LEGO Comments 4 Khyber the Huntsman is a skilled tracker and ruthless villain who prides himself on his patience, taking time to study his targets and wearing them down with this persistence. This is Fourarms, a familiar face but back with a new look. He has super fighting strength. He can leap high in the air and use his big smack to create a powerful shockwave. When Ben transforms into this dinosaur-like alien, he has super strength, armour-like skin, and the ability to grow 60 feet tall. With lightning-quick reflexes and the power to reach speeds of 500 mph, XLR8 is Ben's fastest alien. This is the armadillo-like alien with a yellow, armored body and a horned helmet. He has incredible digging capabilities and can generate shock waves and earthquakes by punching the ground. Kickin' Hawk comes from an alien race that resembles giant roosters. He's an incredibly tough fighter with devastating kicks. Ball Weevil uses a sticky ball to collect random junk.

When he's ready to attack, he kicks the debris ball, which explodes on contact. The bigger the ball, the bigger the boom! This is the indomitable Cannonbolt. He can roll into an almost indestructible ball, bounce around creating powerful shockwaves or spin into a fierce tornado. This is the firey Heatblast, burning hot as ever. He can fire balls of flame from his fists, fly through the air on a fire board and he's immune to heat or cold attacks. This is the electrifying Schocksquach, a yetti-like alien with super strength. He generates huge amounts of electricity which he can fire at his enemies through bolts of energy. This is Rook, Ben's super-skilled new partner and sidekick. With his proto tech armour he can resist enemy fire or fire grappling hooks and his proto tool can transform into different kinds of weapons. Gravattack is literally a small planet, complete with a molten core center. Has gravity-based powers which he can use to create gravity fields which increase or decrease the gravity of others, making them light as a feather, or weigh 100 tons!
