The set will contain 5 minifigures including Batman, Batgirl, Robin, The Joker and Joker’s henchman. I have also updated our previous post with updated images as well. A couple of weeks ago, we published an article of some box art for the 2014 LEGO DC Super Heroes sets. Walmart.ca has recently updated their site with clearer images of 3 of the 4 sets that will be released soon. The only set that is missing is the The Joker Steam Roller (76013). We’ll updated this post as soon as they become available. Batman: The Penguin Face off (76010) The Penguin has stolen a priceless diamond and has two of his robot penguins guarding it. Help Scuba Batman™ to sweep in on his speedy scuba vehicle and get it from their grasp before The Penguin can attack with his crazy duck boat. Both cool vehicles are armed with 2 flick missiles, so if you need to shoot your way out of a tough corner, you have the firepower to do it! Includes Scuba Batman and The Penguin minifigures with weapon and assorted accessories.

Batman: Man-Bat Attack (76011) As Nightwing patrols Gotham City in his glider, he spots Man-Bat planting some dynamite! Strap BatmanTM into the ultra-fast Batcopter, fire up the powerful engine and zoom over to help his friend foil Man-Bat’s attack on the city. And if Nightwing gets into trouble, lower the Batcopter’s working winch and hook and tow the glider to safety. Includes BatmanTM, Nightwing and Man-Bat minifigures with assorted weapons. Batman: The Riddler Chase (76012) The Riddler has robbed the Gotham City bank and is getting away in his ultra-fast dragster. Pursue him with Batman™ in his sleek new Batmobile, but watch out for the bombs being dropped by the dragster. If The Riddler manages to get away, call in help from The Flash, The Fastest Man Alive! Will he arrive in time to save the day? Only you can decide! Includes 3 minifigures with assorted weapons and an accessory: never-before-seen Batman™ (with new suit) and The Flash, and The Riddler. Batman: The Joker Steam Roller (76013)

Kids and building go hand in hand: Make it bigger, higher, better, greener—whatever strikes their fancy that particular day. Not only are building toys a good time, but they‘re also great for parent-child bonding, and have been shown to improve motor skills, hand-eye coordination, social skills, cooperation, creativity, spatial skills, and more. No wonder we love ‘em so much! Play-Doh Disguise Lab Featuring Despicable Me Minions (Hasbro) Sometimes we all feel like minions. But what do minions do when they want to feel like someone else? Enter Play-Doh Disguise Lab. Just put your minion into the hair styling chair (one purple minion, one yellow minion, and chair are included) and give him as many silly and crazy hairstyles as you’d like. Your child will have so much fun with this, and you will too. You can trim their hair, choose different colors, and even make things that Minions love like ba-na-nas. The kit also comes with scissors (not sharp), a comb for styling, and four cans of Play-Doh.

With the Minion movie coming out this summer, this Play Doh kit will be even more popular. About $18 at Toys R Us and other retailers. 3 LEGO DC Comics Batman: The Penguin Face off LEGO, of course, are great building toys. With a dizzying number of sets and sizes to choose from, there’s something for every kid (and every parent) to play with. “LEGO DC Comics Batman: The Penguin Face” off lets kids recreate and act out their favorite superhero moments. In this kit, the goal is to help Scuba Batman bring justice to that diamond-stealing, umbrella-wielding waddler, Penguin and his minions (no, not the yellow ones—this villain’s minions are robot penguins). The kit comes with Batman and Penguin (and two minions) mini-figs, the “diamond,” a ton of weapons—including Penguin’s umbrella, and all the ingredients to build Batman’s scuba vehicle and Penguin’s duck boat. Penguin and the duck boat appeared in the recent movie “LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League vs. Bizarro League.”

The title is quite a mouthful, but it was pretty funny, and a good flick for the whole family (especially all those LEGO and/or Superheroes fans). If your child isn’t into superheroes and prefers something a little more “real,” take a look at the Swamp Police Starter Set, which comes with four mini-figs, an alligator, boat, raft, “hideout” spot, and quite a few accessories, including a spider, snake, handcuffs, walkie talkies, a shovel, and more. Batman is about $13, Swamp is about $10. If you think that all building toys have to be blocks or bricks and have hard edges, you need to meet Bun Bun. These cute, cuddly (and collectible, of course) animals were created to be stacked and piled up. Stacking plush toys have already created a splash in Japan and other countries, and they’re just now hitting the US markets. Bun Bun combines two things kids love: building and animals which is great. Better yet, both boys and girls we tested Bun Bun with loved them and couldn’t get enough.

The first wave of characters includes Kit Kit (Cat), Moo Moo (Cow), Pup Pup (Dog), Shu Shu (Monkey), Bit Bit (Mouse), Pip Pip (Pig), Bai Bai (Polar Bear), and Bon Bon (Rabbit), and they come in four sizes: mini (4”) small (7”) medium (10”) jumbo (16”). But regardless of the color, size, or animal, Bun Bun encourages kids to be creative and get their engineering on. Prices range from $5 to $20. For the video games, see Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes and Lego Marvel Super Heroes. Lego Super Heroes is a theme and product range of the Lego construction toy, introduced in 2011. The line features both DC Comics and Marvel Comics characters. The DC Comics part of the line was launched first, being released in late 2011. The Marvel Comics part of the line was launched on April 10, 2012,[1] to be featured alongside the 2012 film The Avengers. The first wave of sets released included nine sets from the DC Universe line. The largest of the sets was "Arkham Asylum Breakout" which included 1619 pieces and eight minifigures.

In addition to the first release, two polybag sets have been released under the DC Universe line, "Batman jetski" and "Batmobile" as promotions. Lego have also announced nine sets are to be released later in 2012 under the Marvel Universe line. Prior to the first wave of sets, Lego had given away five different minifigure promotional sets at comic conventions in the United States. At the 2011 San Diego Comic-Con, a Green Lantern minifigure and a Batman minifigure were given away to raffle winners and at the 2011 New York Comic Con, the minifigures of Green Lantern, Batman and Superman were given away at the DC Comics booth.[3] In July 2012, 4 more exclusive figures were given at New York Comic Con to raffle winners - Shazam!, Phoenix, Bizarro and Symbiote Spider-Man. In July 2013, four more figures - Green Arrow, Black Man of Steel suit Superman, Spider-Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 suit Spider-Man were released at NYCC. Lego have also released an accompanying magnet set under the Super Heroes theme.

It is a three piece magnet set consisting of the Batman, Robin and The Joker minifigures each attached to a magnetized brick.
