Lego Batman 2 is the best game in the Lego series so far, and it brings Superman into the story to fight evil alongside Batman and Robin. Great for adults and kids, the Lego games are excellent mixes of action and puzzle solving. Lego Batman 2 is no exception, but brings fantastic voice acting to the series as well. Lego Batman 2's gameplay is easy to pick up, with plenty of variety. You can play cooperatively as Batman and Robin or switch between characters when necessary. Both have different abilities, and different suits which give them yet more. It's not difficult, but is hard enough that kids will have to keep on their toes to survive.
The puzzles are well designed, also without being too difficult. Lego Batman 2 introduces an open world structure, Gotham City, but individual stages play just like we're used to in Lego titles. Lego Batman 2 looks great, with all the superheroes and villains animated with tons of humor and character. It's still a lego game, but this looks better than ever. The voice acting is fantastic, and gets the tone just right. There are great jokes throughout, with plenty for all ages to enjoy. Lego Batman 2 is an excellent family video game that's as fun to watch as it is to play. Gotham City's open world design means there's lots to explore and find, and there are lots of characters to unlock and play with. Like most LEGO levels, there are 10 minikits to be found here and this video, along with the description below will show you how to find them all.
Minikit #1 (00:40): Free Play On the left side of the area you will see a magnetic bomb, use Cyborg to lift it out of the ground and grab the minikit. Minikit #2 (01:01): Story Mode Walk over the wing and then over the plane onto the wing on the other side, underneath that wing is the minikit under some lego pieces. Minikit #3 (01:22): Free Play Just to the right of the last one is a Solomon Grundy point, use it and then crack open the safe for a minikit. Minikit #4 (01:57): Free Play In the middle of the plane you will see a grapple handle that you can pull, do so and destroy the box to grab a minikit. Minikit #5 (02:53): Free Play After crossing the waterfall to the left of the first mine is a gold flower, destroy it and grab the minikit. Minikit #6 (03:16): Free Play In the area where you get the bow and arrow, on the left side of the area is a poison ivy point, go through it for the minikit. Minikit #7 (03:24): Free Play
In the same area as the previous minikit shoot all the targets and a bat sense will appear to the left of them. Use your senses and turn the handle to make the targets reappear. Shoot all the targets and the minikit is yours. Minikit #8 (02:42/03:59/04:27): Story Mode In the front left corner of the level, towards the screen, there is a pile of wood with a target at the top, shoot it. When you get to the second area, where you get the bow, in the bottom right corner is the second wood pile. In the area where you blow up the tower, instead of heading through the gate head towards the screen and to the right. The last one will be right in front of you. Minikit #9 (02:08/04:05/04:38): Story Mode At the start of the level walk to the left and towards the screen and you will see a Deathstroke mask on a stick. On the other side of the plane to the right of the wing is the second mask. In front of the plane on the right side is the next mask. In the area where you blow up the tower, instead of heading through the gate head towards the screen and in the bottom left corner is the next mask.
