Now, way back in 2008, with the release of the original Lego Batman game, there wasn't a whole lot of buzz surrounding Lego, or even - compared to now - about superheroes in general. After all, the Marvel Cinematic Universe was yet to find its feet - that was the same year of Iron Man's release - and the iconic Lego games (now beloved by millions) had yet to expand much beyond Lego Star Wars. Now, though, times have changed - and from the looks of the recent post-credits sting in Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, we might now even be set to see the greatest superhero extravaganza of them all...A Marvel and DC Crossover...in Lego. So, like this, but blockier. And with less SuperboyWell, that goes all the way back to Lego Marvel Superheroes, which ended with this intriguing moment... Which seemed to suggest that a Lego Batman cameo was imminent... Only for it to end up being the prince of Wakanda himself, The Black Panther...And, then, of course, not all that long after, we saw Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham.Which, (SPOILER alert), ends with this silhouette...

Which sure looks an awful lot like Black Widow, Spider-Man, Captain America, The Hulk , Thor, Iron Man and Hawkeye. The only hitch? It was actually Black Canary, Nightwing, Aquaman, Swamp Thing, Shazam, Booster Gold and Green Arrow, all along. The clear hint, though? The Next Step is a Marvel/DC crossoverAfter all, though the games are published by Warner Bros. Interactive Games, the company's deal with Lego also grants them access to the Marvel universe's characters - as well as Warner Bros.' DC back catalog. And, with pretty much every major Marvel and DC character already collected in Lego Marvel Superheroes and Lego Batman 3, there's not a whole lot else to tease other than a crossover. So, the big question? Will we be seeing that Lego Marvel/DC crossover game any time soon?Never going to happen. via ComicBookMovieThe best way to waste your day! Our brand NEW Moviepilot Creators Facebook page. Switch to Grundy and head up the stairs past the pillar bridge. Destroy the plants to the left of the forcefield to find a Swamp Spot. Use it to unearth a water canon. Use the cannon to dissolve the blocks in front of the forcefield to reveal a cracked wall. Have Grundy smash it to disable the forcefield. To the left of the door is a large tree. Attack its branches with projectile attacks then interact with the resulting bricks to build a Lantern Pad. Have Green Lantern use the pad to expose the final flower. Grapple its orange plug to remove the remaining vine from the temple door. Return to the door and interact with the hopping bricks at its base to build a Spinner. Push the green side to open the door and head on through. Switch back to Green Lantern and interact with the hopping bricks to build a Sphere Slot. Tap the Interact Button to turn into a ball and roll into the slot. The slot controls a lift that will move your companions up to the next floor. Switch to Grundy and have him use the green handles near the top of the lift to reveal a beam of light. Smash the vines on top then use an explosive attack to destroy the silver bits then a laser to melt the gold coins to unearth the last Minikit.
