Just like that and then 2016 Nuremberg Toy Fair has started and there are now some images of the summer wave of LEGO sets. The guys over at PromoBricks and Zusammengebaut are there and they have provided the images for the world to see. There will also be videos as well from both sites later as well as more higher quality images when they are settled in after each day. Again, I’ll keep this post updated as more images are shared. Also if you haven’t checked it out yet, I’ve compiled a list of some of the sets we should be seeing in summer 2016. Images continued after the break. Arnett's take on the dark knight was one of the many surprising highlights of Chris Miller and Phil Lord's THE LEGO MOVIE, so it wasn't a shock when a spin-off featuring the character was announced.
Several new images from the film have been released courtesy of USA Today and feature Will Arnett's Batman, Zach Galifianakis' Joker, Michael Cera's Robin, and, if you look closely enough, Harley Quinn behind the wheel of the Joker's car. Chris McKay, director of THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE, was also kind enough to spill a few details about the characters joining Batman in his animated adventure A new LEGO BATMAN MOVIE trailer, which will be revealed later this week at Comic-Con, will give us a better idea of what this spin-off will be about and what sets Batman and the Joker against each other. "The Joker sees himself on the same level as Batman, a peer, at the top of the game," says director Chris McKay. "But Batman says that’s not the case, which sends Joker into a spiral trying to prove to Batman that he is indeed the greatest enemy." Dick Grayson enters Batman's world when he's accidently adopted at a charity auction by billionaire Bruce Wayne. Chris McKay says that "Robin is a super-positive kid who always sees the glass as half full.
Really, at the end of the day, he just wants a hug. Michael brings the sweetness and honesty." "That's kind of The Joker's General Patton car, where he can survey the battle. Batman's relationship with Robin isn't exactly ideal as he definitely prefers to do his crime-fighting solo with maximum brooding (darkness!) Not to be deterred, Robin actually breaks into Batman's wardrobe and fashions himself a sparkly new suit, complete with a distractingly flappy cape. The Fate of the Furious A Cure For WellnessBatman est décidément à l'honneur en ce moment et s'il fallait encore une preuve qu'il est le grand gagnant dans cette histoire en voici une nouvelle. Parce que oui, Superman a beau être balèze, il n'a pas droit à son propre film LEGO et ça, ça veut tout dire. Après le carton que fut La Grande Aventure LEGO, logique que le studio envisage une suite. Mais qu'elle ne fut pas notre surprise d'apprendre qu'avant d'avoir une séquelle officielle, nous allions passer par la case spin-off puisque le film LEGO Batman était en développement et que sa sortie était caléeau 10 février 2017. Pour autant, le film de Chris McKay devrait rester dans l'esprit de La Grande Aventure LEGO et il ne faut donc pas s'attendre à y voir un Batman torturé, dépressif et vengeur comme il peut l'être chez Zack Snyder. Non, là, il va nous faire marrer, entouré des figures emblématiques de son univers, Robin en tête. Après plusieurs annonces concernant son impressionnant casting vocal (Will Arnett, Michael Cera, Rosario Dawson, Mariah Carey....), Warner vient enfin de rendre publiques les premières images officielles du film via le magazine USA Today.
